Exactly! I'm starting to make an apex UQ after some researching. Apex is very easy to make a UQ out of, and it works well if, by any chance, it gets wet.

Am I crazy? I don't wont to spend money on a hex or winter tarp, so I thought that I could add removable "doors" on the sides, making it a hex tarp. So, am I crazy or did I actually do something good?

The highest I am willing to hang my hammock in a tree is 20 feet. Any higher, I would look down, and see how high I was, and scramble down! I'm just happy that I not the only crazy one here...
