Thanks!
I would have sewed it prior to adding the silicone....now that it is cured your probably going to have to just deal with it there as you won't be able to get it off.
What do you mean a map? Do you want to know what provinces are in each region??
Atlantic: Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick
Central: Quebec, Ontario...
I prefer crunchy over smooth as well....so there you go we do agree on something lol
cheers dude!
Your funny...for someone who says it isn't a "big issue" for you, you really seem to have a lot of input....at least you made me smile today lol.
There are NO trees in Nunavut so that isn't a problem. The Northwest Territories can be with Central and Yukon with Pacific.
Have they even used a hammock before? lol....and saying set up for a hammock is 6-8 lines plus a youtube tutorial??!!
I would think that it would be more than sufficient to just leave all prior posts and anything new be put into the sub-forums. I'm still not sure what reservations you have with this Chard....it's...
Atlantic/Central/Prairie/Pacific would seem to me the best and simplest categories IMHO.
Anyone in Nova Scotia or the Martitimes up for getting a group hang together this Spring-Fall times this year? If so, let's try to arrange something.
It's just Canada....not broken up into regions like the USA folk have....ie: Northeast etc etc etc.
Maybe if there were more sub-forums more people would use it? Not sure why it matters how many posts there have been thus far; its only a sub-forum and given the fact that there are dumber sub-forums...
Actually Maritime only encompasses NS, PEI & NB...it doesn't include Newfoundland & Labrador...so Atlantic is proper...Western is not Prairie, so maybe just Atlantic/Central/Prairie/Pacific.
I am 5'8" and a little bit lol...I have the Warbonnet Blackbird and it is excellent. They are a little pricey; especially after converting to Canadian funds but I love it and would buy it again. I...
Is there a way Canada can get sub-forums like the USA has? ie: Northeast/Southeast/Midwest/Southwest??? Can you create sub-forums for Canada such as Atlantic/Central/Prairie/Mountain/Pacific? Canada...
WOW...great image!
Yeah apparently he worked with LiteAF to help design this newer version so he would be able to help you for sure.
Don't be too hard on yourself...it only gets better, and with practice it certainly will! Best place to look is on Jellyfish's youtube channel and RSBTR's tutorial videos are GREAT! Check out both...
After backpacking with a tent for years and CONSTANTLY waking up in the middle of the night and the morning all stiff and sore and cramped up in the shoulders etc I started to search for a better way...
"Frozen" from youtube channel Outdoor Adventures just posted a video on that exact tarp...check it out: LiteAF Hammock Tarp - Out Now
What fabric did you use?
White will be very very hard to see out of! Stick with tried and true....black.

Totally agree....it's just like "wow, I made that!"
Exactly my thoughts...looks odd.
Very well done indeed!
Absolutely the UQ is THE GAME CHANGER!
I have the WB Superfly but am using the WBBB....the Superfly is HUGE so I don't think you would have any problems with the WBRR....I would though just give the guys a call at WB and speak to them...
1. No liner....I usually sleep in ultra thin long underwear and long/short sleeve shirt which totally negates that sticky feeling if you get sweaty. You can always slide the TQ off you to cool down...
Stick with tried and true cottage vendors who 99% of the time would never ever screw you over but rather bend over backwards to make you a happy customer. Sorry you got ripped off.
Great initiative...thanks!!
Gear Aid's Tenacious Mesh Repair Tape is by far the best and no sewing! Sticks on and doesn't come off. Since your in Canada, you can get it at any MEC or Bass Pro Shop/Cabellas .
Like Jellyfish stated I believe your foot pressure is too high....take her word for it, she knows what she is talking about. Try lowering the pressure and see how that works.
Thanks everyone!!
I've looked on the forums and can't seem to find printed instructions on how to properly sew an underquilt protector. Can anyone provide me which such a beast? First time sewing such a thing and...
But is it best to hang or lie flat as flat there will not be any migration? I have always wondered this as well...
Yeah try being up here in Canada...we get winter and summer is August 23rd...lol
Aloha...welcome to the forums. How's it going eh? from Canada lol.
NJHeart2Heart....
You really need to do practice hangs before going out into the unknown. By sleeping in your backyard in varying degrees of temperatures and weather you will get to know and trust...
Wow...that's some peer pressure; only took one day lol. You will be happy with the WBBB...I have one and love it!
Looks great! Would cost a small fortune to build that here in Canada....wood costs so much here:(
Welcome to the Forums....and best of luck on your new business; looks great!
guenni....remember, and 11ft hammock is only 11 ft when stretched out flat; not when in a hang...you will lose some length once it is hung.
I wouldn't pay for one single feather until you spoke to your vendor first. Unless there is something seriously wrong with your baffles it appears like the vendor didn't put enough if any down in the...
Yeah I am from CB and have property there as well....hike the highlands all the time.
Any hangers here in Nova Scotia? Looking for some interested peeps for some backpacking trips up in the Cape Breton Highlands this year.
I live in Canada and can tell you we don't have two seasons; Winter and July....it's actually Winter and August 23 lol
Hey Caper...I'm in the Halifax area as well...are there any hanging groups in the area??
I was just going to say why waste your money on a pad when you can buy HG's econ UQ?? You guys in the great USA are so lucky to be able to get gear at an inexpensive price unlike us Canucks here in...
I would just install a RL...very cheap to do and you can use it to hang so much stuff...will solve your problem for sure.
