So sorry to hear about his death, May be RIP
We gave it back to you yrs ago
We probably don't even remember how to set up our hammocks. All of our gear has been in storage for 5-6 yrs. No idea what kind of shape it is in.
Divinity, are you taking over Ricks role. I hope you have a good turn out.
Our whoopies are still on our hammocks from 5 yrs ago and still in storage in Tn.
Thanks, I know you will have fun. Take lots of pics so I can see what everyone looks like now...lol
Oh how we miss those hangs when we were there. Always a lot of food and good times.
No problem I was just curious. You may not have known it
why is this in the forum for southeast camping?
BillyBob, I know Hamhocker used it when she first started hammocking in cold weather in 2010 at Meriwether Lewis park . I had it already so I must have bought it from Ed in 2009. Hope that helps a...
I sold my Speer Peapod back in 2011. Speer Peapod 8.0, Version II, 6'x9', 900 down insulation, sewn through construction, includes stuff sack.

Hi BillyBob, Hope you are doing well.
I joined on Oct 11 2006 and was active on here until Hamhocker and I moved to Mexico 6 years ago.
I remember putting those tarps up and taking them down. Hamhocker folded that tarp right up just like it came out of the bag...lol
Thanks we are doing well. We survived all 3 of them. Another one may turn up towards up but we are hoping it won't. I hope you enjoy the meetup groups. Lots of outdoor activities to do there
There is a Meetup Group in Nashville for backpacking. https://www.meetup.com/NashvilleBackpacker/
This one is for day trips and sometimes overnight trips ...
He had been retired for a while.

Great video on the Superior Trail. It shows us who haven't been there what it is like.
Smart Governor.
I bought a DIY bridge hammock from BIC that was modeled after Warbonnet Ridgerunner. You might search for some threads about how he made it.
We might be able to do one in Nov. cross your fingers
I went back to see the folks that posted on the thread in the beginning. I recognize a lot of names that no longer post on here and haven't in years. I read the post almost everyday but don't post...
What about the Yukon, Northwest Territories? I could see Nunavut being left out.

Hamhocker and I (mainly me) pop in everyday to see if I recognize anyone. A few old timers are still on here but not many. The forum, members and mods have changed a lot since I got on here. Not...
A mesh bag from the Dollar store is a lot cheaper.
