Lol, my bike gets a whole wipe down when it gets wet, I don't care if yours looks like crap when you ride. Plus wet saddle bags to deal with, tarping the bike makes a whole lot more sense than what...
But who wants to wake up to a wet ride when you also have to break camp? Maybe I'm too old, but covering the bike when traveling sounds like a great idea.

Seems like you could put big enough hooks in the walls, then when not in use hang a couple of pictures with deep frames on them.
