Very cool - I'm in
I am like the OP. I move around a lot at night and want a full length. Would a Costco DIY (1 layer and 3 layer) full length work OK with the WB BB XLC?

I'll take the Dutchware gear group. Please send me your Paypal info.
Wow, well OK Medic. Looks like it's just the two of us on that canoe trip. LOL Surprising. I thought we would get some info from some guys. Don't give up the ship just yet. We may still get some.
I agree. Stick with the webbing & buckles suspension from Warbonnet as the link above. Even if your a gram weenie. The tiny extra bit of weight is worth all the convenience and accuracy.
Very nice, thank you. Boy do I miss the BWCA. haven't been back there in a long long time. But those memories last forever.
They will never spot you out in the woods with that. Very subdued.
It does look nice!
Thank you for your service and sorry about the disability! Not that much, but at least you know it's appreciated.
I'm hoping that it just fits me. But I'll have to wait and see. Thanks for the encouraging words.
If not, I may force the issue and just try and mod mine. I'm thinking pull the stitching off the...
I'm interested in this as well. Looking forward to seeing some good advice in the replies.
Hello all,
I just bought in to this Kool-Aid also. I can't wait to get this and try it out. I bought it 2 days ago and it's sitting at the UPS distribution center just miles away from me now. I'll...
You guys are killing me. I got sucked in and bought one too! I'm a side sleeper so my WB BBXLC and custom made Clark5 are going to be sitting on the sidelines now I hope.
I couldn't pass up on...
It still has some insulation value. Just not as much. I personally don't know performance/percentage wise how much the difference is. But still usable. Especially if car type camping vs backpacking...
I hang and camp out mostly from my vehicles; motorcycle, truck or canoe. I'm getting too old to be throwing that pack on my back and hiking for miles. So I could care less about the weight. To me...
Thank you! I'm one of those newbies who are planning to attend. And I appreciate it.

I'm half American Indian. My mom was full blood Abenaki (NH, VT, Maine) (sub tribes were more commonly known as Penobscot, Mic Mac, St Francis Indians, etc). White people used to call half blood...
Yeah, I know that NOW. Duh. I bought it in March, half a year ago and used it for the first time this last weekend. Life happened and I didn't get a chance to use it until L&L which I signed up for...
Thank both of you for your kind offer to help. I may take you up on that. Several people helped me out at the L&L and it was much appreciated. Thank you again for those that did and read this.
The...
I am going to try and make this event. This will be my second hang. 1st time ever was this last weekend at L&L, which was a great event. And I met a lot of great people there.
But I didn't sleep so...
Hi all. Thank you for a wonderful time and for all the help I received from the many people who helped me out as a newbie setting up my gear.
I met some great people and made some new friends,...
Seconds - I'll take it............. in the unlikely event that the first buyer Gustavus backs out/changes his mind. .
And I'll take it if the other three fall through. LOL
I would suggest that buyer/seller feedback be added to this forum for each user. It is common on other forums. It provides both buyers and sellers with important information. Such as if a person is...
I'll take it. Payment on it's way. Thank you
On my list of "to do" places to hang. Went there many years back and it's time for another in depth visit.
On a good note, in case you do decide to sell your old camo Jarbridge that you have I may be interested at a reasonable price.
I'd like to get 3 or better yet 4 if and when you can get some more.
Thank you in advance
He is asking about which hammock to bring. And you tell him about getting a tarp?
This sounds great. I'm new to hanging, just bought my first hammock last night. A WBBB XLC. So I'm looking forward to hanging with a group and learning all I can. And enjoying Maine! One of my...
AHE Toxaway. or WL Tadpole, something with like a 12' RL. would be great as well. A classic cat cut hex in a good size. Anyone have one too many?
I'm 6'2" 250 lbs so a Warbonnet Blackbird XLC in a dbl layer 1.7 seems best. But I'm open to others.
Weight's not such a big deal as I will be doing car camping and motorcycle camping. I'm too ****...
