Looking to do some backpacking along the coast of BC, specifically Vancouver island. Maybe the west coast trail.

Some advice for those who have done trips like that with hammocks....

I have done some. Places are not so crowded and often state and local campgrounds have shelters for rain. Will often use these at night to hang. Nice shelter from rain. Just be out by sunrise.

Wow, this sounds like fun. I am in seattle and am headed out to the 4th annual Idaho hang with Paul gibson and crew. However, this western wa trip might be good for the end of the month.
