That must be it.

More airflow might help the issue but then you run the risk of sacrificing coverage with the tarp.

I stopped waiting and ordered a new one in brown. Came to my house within a week. Now I don't have to keep checking and waiting. Probably should of just bought one in the first place when I wanted...

I Plan on using 30degree quilts for all my 3 season use. If I get into winter camping i'll probably buy winter quilts.

Very Nice! I just treated myself to a WB Superfly (my first tarp) and a HG Phoenix (my first underquilt) so I know how it feels to get your own new gear!

My UQ is on order and cant wait to get it so I can ditch the pad!

I am reading this thread a little late. What kind of "guided trip" were you looking for? Just some ideas or an all out guided trip. Let me know, I may be able to point you in the right direction

Ordered a WB Superfly came within a week and is exactly as advertised. Couldn't be happier and im proud to spend my money on vendors like Warbonnet versus big box store companies.

On the new Superfly, is all that needs seam sealing the side pullouts? And the micro biner that comes with it just for whatever?

I just picked up a noah 20 for car/family camping. Havent used it yet but it seems a lot nicer than a blue cheapo!

Ya that's what im thinking. All I need is a set of quilts but I can continue using my sleeping bag as a top quilt for now. I would rather have an underquilt so I can leave the sleeping pad at home!

I might even treat myself to an underquilt too! I have one all picked out just hesitating on pulling the trigger. I probably will though... on man decisions
