Hey knish. See you there, dude!
We plan to make curry chicken corn chowder, but don't want to step on any outdoor culinary toes. When would be a good time to serve that? Perhaps for lunch? Let us know!
That dutch oven lid made an awesome pan for frying up some bacon!
Whoa, that was our very first camping / backpacking trip at site #5 at round valley! Pretty awesome time. Syb came in and made fresh guac from scratch. We should go back there!
Thankfully, I was quick enough to jump out of the way for that one.
I use a thermarest Xtherm max in my double layer ridge runner. It definitely feels "flatter" when inflated properly
Gear aid tenacious tape. Trick is to prep the surface with isopropyl alcohol before the repair.

I think the key is that it should be absolutely LOADED with butter to make it delish!
If we had more than 1 dutch oven, I'd for sure make corn bread right in camp as well.
Maybe!!!
Likewise, looking forward to it!!!
Edit : Diana and I will be there!
Can't decide wether to make jambalaya or curry chicken corn chowder
Looking forward to it!

Still too early to tell, but it looks like it might get down to the low 30s this weekend. Darn, was looking forward to the temps getting down to the teens

Worthington state forest is gorgeous. Alot of great trails, and nice campsites. Right by the water but not too close where you get eaten alive by mosquitoes.
kid friendly. maybe ill do a quick course on primitive fire making? that would be a fun project for the kids!
Hello there. My wife and I have shared a warbonnet superfly on many instances during our backpacking trips. We've tied hiking poles to our ridgelines to act as a spreader bar. We're both using...
