Nice work! And yeah. A guide would be interesting.
The Uintas are great camping and hiking and there's so much to explore whether backpacking or car camping. Which is one reason Causey and Middle Fork surprised me. I had written those off as party...
I really enjoyed the video, and several others on your channel! I was surprised to see videos of Causey and Middle Fork in Utah. I live about half an hour from those areas. Thanks!
There tarps look like they passed the test. Looks like awesome camping too! Thanks for sharing!
That looks great! One awesome step dad there. I'd love to see some detail shots of it. If you do the front one as well we're going to need shots of the hammock carousel!
About 18" of shock cord with mitten clips. To close the doors I clip them to the corner stake lines. They overlap a bit and make it quite snug. To keep them open, I run them thru the pull out...
Those are gorgeous pictures! Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I'll be looking forward to the next batch, snow or not!
Welcome Thomas. You have found the right place for hammock-y goodness.!
I vote doors. They're there when wanted, even just to block an unwanted or unpleasant breeze. They live folded back the rest of the time. Also I very much subscribe to being prepared, possibly too...
Nice work. Don't be too critical of your first try. They're usually a learning experience, and your work will improve with time and practice. Keep moving your skills forward!
+1 for the Sawtooths. Haven't been in a couple years, now that you bring them up I guess I'm obligated to head back!
Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Close to where I live and just gorgeous on top of that. Huge range of elevations too.
You're the one with the best judgement where your dog will be most happy. Despite that, pets will make up their own minds. Sometimes annoyingly so!
Maybe test your dogs preference with a simple...
"It's a winch hammock." That's pretty good! Going to have to go and try that. I can't say it ever occurred to me until now!

Mine came in. I like the Dream-tex, it has a softer texture than the rest of my hammocks. Still messing around with the hang, going off Warbonnet's instructions and video. I'm not 100% sure I...
Had to go with an Autumn Orange El Dorado in the dream text fabric. Haven't tried a Warbonnet hammock. Yet. Now, for the waiting part...

I switch around between straight legs and figure 4 (either leg). Occasionally, I just crash and don't move much during the night. I'm going to try out the sit pad idea. Heel pressure is often why...
Looks good so far! The redwood cladding will be a nice touch. I love the up-cycled cross arms as well. Keep up the good work, and post more pictures as you go!

10 out of 10 from me, for both quality of the products and customer service. I have 3 HG quilts, 2 Incubators and a Burro. There are likely more in my future...

Welcome Chip. Seems like the ground gets a little harder and a little further down every year. Which just makes a hammock that much sweeter. Go enjoy!

I have that exact model olfa as well. 28mm also. It's what works best for me. I have had the same blade in it for years. Used (and abused) on dozens of projects and it still does a good job....
January and February this year. Both in the back yard. Need to get out more when work permits. Over night low in January was 22, my PR. Feb was 31 with some light...
My hangout in the back yard. I'm lucky to have some 40+ year old trees to choose from. The area is a little more urban than it looks. WB Super Fly, HG 10 degree UQ, and a Dutch...
