I recommend hammock gear as well. Quality products and they stand by them. Especially with the 30% off. Can’t beat that. I am not familiar with the other brands.
We had a tulip poplar we got as a twig on earth day. We planted it. I used to mow around it by walking over it. When we moved it was taller than me. Still would be able to hang on.
I would buy a...
It is looking better today. Come on NC weather keep changing for the positive.
Slugger yeah mine was showing an inch of rain on Saturday. [emoji1629]⛵️
Lot of rain forecast for the weekend boo
You know, you could spread some of that out and let some other people bring things as well. That’s a lot of stuff for one guy to be toting to a camping trip.

Best of luck and God bless on the interviews.
I would maybe consider it but this weekend my daughter is coming home from college. Can’t wait to see her.
Be neat to attend but just too far [emoji3][emoji594]
You going to use your hot tent? Perfect trip for it!
I am taking my name off the list for this one. I don't have enough PTO to use if I get sick while in the wind and cold Saturday!
thank you Marci!
I am not skilled in hot tent stuff but I think you need to put the stove pipe on the stove [emoji1787][emoji6]
Excellent tips
Except I am not sure about a red sweatshirt being warmer than other colors haha [emoji23]
I am hoping for 12 nights this year. 2023
I usually bring my kindle and enjoy some reading with the back light.
I also will listen to a podcast that I have been working my way through. American Revolution podcast.
I think I just put in for it at work. I am excited to make it back to Yates.
Thanks slowhike I hope that I can make it.
Just signed up and the spreadsheet worked!
Hope to make it.
I didn’t read but we are on our own for meals except Saturday meal?
I would like to try to get 12 next year.
Thanks Phantom I was wondering the dates. Might be nice to try to make it.
*Same Hammock Gear will be my first recommendation for insulation and other hammock camping supplies.
I ended up going with a 20° no over stuff. I used it this past weekend and people said it was high 20s to low 30s. I was cozy on top but my 20° incubator needs some help and rejuvenating.
...
Looking forward to it I just have to pack and work a full day tomorrow.
Thanks I eventually found this on their website.
I guess the other question is is it worth the extra money?
What does overfill do?
Looking at an economy 20° with no overfill. For a more winter colder temps.
I have a synthetic “summer” quilt that I can comfortably use to 40°F with an extra blanket...
Great photos!
Sad I could not make it. I was told to not leave this weekend since I am going camping in the next couple. [emoji2]
So I listened!
Wow [emoji2956] how did that occur? Glad to see you are still alive!? [emoji23]
Well maybe I need to get into the woods and weather looks nice for camping might be able to make it. It will a last minute decision.
Looks like I won’t be making it this time.
I started with an eno singlenest. Wish I had opted for the double nest though.
I then had a Blackbird for a long time then switched to Dutch half zipped. I like it a lot.

The collage picture is a blast from the past! My daughter is in that picture and she is now 20 yo!
I would like to come. I will have to sign up closer to the event.
I hope to be there as well.
That is too much. I am all for taking care of the trees but that is over the top on the rules.
GroundHog those trees are growing sideways to get away from the fire.

Just a few hundred people in the woods...
I am still hoping to come I just have to put some mental energy to my groceries.
I think a weekend in the woods would be nice. #needed

Is this February 3-5 or 10-12? Kinda interested and wondering about weather
I used to use something like this too. Lately I just larks head my headlamp on the ridge line. I also have a keychain light that looks like a blue light from harbor freight.
Looks like fun. Maybe next year.
I had to remove my name from the spread sheet. If someone could clean it up on a computer I would appreciate it.
I don’t think I can make it. Ga$ and food price$ too much at this time.
Tentatively in on this depends on job situation.
Have to find a new job first.
I signed up but depends on my job situation. I was let go on Dec 15 from the teaching position. [emoji2962]
I borrowed my “wife’s” palace since it supposed to rain and it did. I had to share this pick from Saturday afternoon while I spent some time reading near my hammock. I think this photo turned out...
Looks like it could be a soggy weekend
Or they could be wrong and it will be nice. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20221102/a016ff23457f4f0b8f4feab83e5d3cbd.jpg
Thanks we were there one time and people felt it appropriate to party with loud music and bass until midnight.
Pretty much not the place or space for that. People go to the woods for some quiet.
Anyone want to slip away to Yates this weekend? Planning to go camping with my son and was thinking of heading to Yates. “For the first time in forever “[emoji444][emoji445]
Homeless people there?...
Great pictures!
