Welcome from Nova Scotia Canada!!
Winter TQ is sewn, summer TQ is snap cinch
I would also recommend/vote for the UQ first. You can always use a sleeping bag as a TQ. Nothing better than downy goodness under you, (and eventually on top of you).
What size is the amsteel?
Did you shorten the existing triangle (amsteel?) or create new ones?
Are Canadians eligible?
Can someone post pics of the triangle mods?
Welcome from Nova Scotia!!
What else am I missing that is in the donating area only?
I am not being a smart ***, where do I find the "camp kitchen forum", I tried to find a stand alone camp kitchen forum but could not find it here.
Glad I saw this post, I have been waiting for the 180 to return. Canada strikes again!! LOL Just kidding. Cannot help a good deal.
Would an 11 ft hammock (WBB XLC) or a bridge (WBB) fit under the 12 foot , or should I go 16?
I would be interested in any other input, I just bought a RR and find it not as wide as I would like (using an UQ). If the inflatable pad adds some width then that would be great!! Also if current...
I'm in, Thanks
Any word on a black friday warbonnet sale? I am also looking at a bridge.
Welcome from the East Coast!
Another canuck!! Welcome from the East Coast. Lots of help and advice here. I have henneseys and a Warbonnet.

Would this work as a ridge pole?
http://www.princessauto.com/pal/en/Other/Army-Surplus-Fibreglass-Tent-Pole/8412736.p
I had to go to 14 ft for the ridge pole
PatT do you have any pics of your setup?
Any pics? I do the ridgeline inside of the tarp, would like to see the outside setup.
how much to send the shirts to canada?
Wilderness Logic's XXL Summer Series TQ, downy goodness
Thanks for the info, I forgot about moisture form me!!
If I put a bivy over a top quilt (or similar over cover, rip stop?) to keep out moisture on the down bag, would the weight of the bivy (zipper on bottom or the side) compress the down and compromise...
I would be interested.......
Do you have any pics of the attachment points? If not where did you connect?
If you cut the tripod legs in half (go from 6 ft legs to 3 ft pieces) and added a sleeve over the cut (all for portability) would that compromise the legs?
Count me in, color does not matter, thank you
Tarp hanging over the ridge pole or under the ridge pole?
Is there a standard length everyone uses for the rope on the bottom of the legs (limiters)? Do people tie them for adjustment?
Thanks for the quick response. I got excited there for a minute, thought I could save weight and cost!!
hppyfngy, did you say 1 inch conduit? Do you mean pvc? Any pics? IS it multiple pieces?
Thanks
Greetings from Eastern Canada!!
Mine arrived yesterday!! Looks great cannot wait to try it.
Has anyone put a screw on the bottom of each leg to anchor it in place (stop it from slipping) or is the rope connected to each leg the preferred method? I was thinking of uneven ground. Another idea...
