You’re welcome!
Well, I'm sorry to say I won't be able to come and see everyone after all. I caught a cold a week ago and although I was sure I'd be better by now, I'm still up all night coughing. The weather's...

I'm anxiously awaiting those pictures!
I’ve always wanted to go, and this year it looks like I might be able to.

Follow up: after all my fussing, all I needed to do was stake out the entrance side of my wbbb and then zip the sock up, leaving a gap of an inch or so. Easy peasy.

That’s a good idea. I’m short though and I think the sock would be in the muddle under my hammock ... but maybe if I add a CRL above my hammock but below the tarp. Something to try while I wait for...

Holy sh*t! How did I miss those pull outs? Thanks for the link.
Warbonnet does have a specific protector, but I have the earliest version of the blackbird and I wasn’t sure it would be enough. I...

They were all frayed and ugly where I had pulled on the cord. And now I'm thinking I spent 20 minures fixing that which was not broken. Doh.
I'm going on a camping trip and the weather is going to be colder than I expected.
Two weeks ago I ordered a top quilt, under quilt, and some tent stakes from Warbonnet. The notice on the website...
I'd be interested too.
So I got mad and yanked like hell on the trailing cords of my brand new whoopie slings. Dumb. I searched the forum and found some posts from 2014 where the best suggestion was to make new ones, and...
So I've ditched the descender rings altogether and switched to an amsteel loop larks headed onto each end of my WBBB and a larks headed whoopie sling on each tree strap.
Easy-peasy until I got...
as soon as I get bigger rings, I'm going to copy your setup.
The triangle came on the tree strap with my warbonnet blackbird, it's meant to be hung with a knot but I don't know what it's rated. I think they've changed their tree straps since I bought mine.

Hi everyone,
I've lurked on this form for years and every time I've had a question I've been able to find the answer until now. Is this a safe way to hang?
Basically, i've been using a...
