Thanks for getting the word out on SLD insulated hammocks. I decided to add another Trail Lair to the collection, so I ordered the insulation on the newest one. Such a great hammock! I expect it will...
I miss this hang, it was the first one I ever attended.
Sadly, I’ll be in NY this weekend.
Unfortunately the Yoda clan will be hanging at home this year. We have a couple of high risk kiddos to look out for. Looking forward to getting back out there in 2021.
Yes
We've had nights in the 80's and 90's with no air moving and the inventive hangers created bucket ac units.
Or... it could be in the 60's and get breezy at 2am.
Best to be prepared. But as others...
On the calendar, should have a small clan again this year.
Side note: Has there been any thought or talk about a raffle this year?
Always willing to donate some items to the cause, but if we...
Yup! Always welcome. I believe the site is plenty big and there are traditions to be maintained.
We have our usual block of 75-79, so we should be good for the group site.
Looking for company? This site has a few good pairs.
You snuck in like a tree thief and grabbed my favorite on Thursday!
(will try for 77)
We have 77 now too. Mini-block.
This is the area, near the water.

Was going to suggest the same that our pal Flash mentioned. No sense all trying to book the same site.
I will be trying to book site 75 again.
There will be many trees available, if anyone needs a...
Hi there.
Welcome to the forum! Hope to see you and the pup at one of our local New England hangs.
Cheers.
Will miss sharing ye olde hangin' site with ya, Ted, but I guess things change and we must all move on.
I now have Princess G and her clan to accompany me, but have not fully converted her yet. I'm...
Welcome to the crazy fast awesome club!
Just received mine today and of course it is amazing, like every other piece of gear I have received from SLD.
Hope to set it up this weekend and will post...
Gil put in a good word with the warden.
Your prison furlough for the weekend has been approved.
Congrats Ted!
Awesome view! We will miss you at these wee little gatherings.
My house in MA went on the market yesterday. No firm plans on the next location, but likely NH later in the year....
Bad intel on the booking dates?
I know we booked in January last year, not Feb. Oh well.
Giant site 75 is out. Booked 86, across the road, this year.
Not sure about trees or lack thereof, bringing...
Roger that.
I'll try to book same site as last year, I believe it was 75.
There were several hanger friendly tree pairs there, so additional hangers are welcome and invited.
If I remember, we can begin booking 6 months out, so we should try to get a block of sites sooner rather than later.
On the 2019 calendar
I was very sad not to win the signed SHUG shirt, it was very nice.
Thank you for your generosity, kind sir.
Thanks to everyone that planned, helped, showed up this year. Always a great time at the L&L Hang.
Didn't have much time for photo ops and hanging by the fire as per previous years as I kid...

I can bring a hammock chair.
Stopping by Thursday after work to say hello and scope out the site. Then returning Friday to officially set up.
Ted and Stacy are on 75.
Ignorance is bliss. I don't think he had any idea how that could have turned out.
Thanks Tom.
Never too early to start planning for our favorite hang of the year!
Looking forward to this.
ps
I have a couple of (non-roughing it) friends that would like to join us this year....
Updated the sheet with requested site share.
Hi Gideon,
Here's a snapshot of site 85. Hard to tell the exact layout and spacing, but there are several trees on the site.

Lots of trees on 75.
I'll probably aim for something in the...
There will be spots available on site 75 (with Laura heading off to Costa Rica and all) if anyone needs a place to hang.
Should have a minimum of 3 open spots, and could possibly squeeze in a couple...
Nice. We have a 6-site hammock village now.
Will book 75 for Thur/Fri/Sat nights.
In case anyone wants to get there early and join Jerry.
Heads up.
This Saturday (1/20/18) we can make reservations for Friday July 20, 2018 according to Reserve America.
Not sure if we have to wait until Sunday 1/21 to be able to book a 2nd night? Guess...
Likewise, my friend. It has been too long already.
I'm now a tentative possible maybe. Traveling overseas in January and return date not confirmed yet. Will make the hang if I'm back in time.
2018 Reservations for MA State Parks can made starting today.
Welcome.
Check out the Northeast section if you are ever looking for some locals to hang with.
Cheers.
I've had the Hand Loops on all of my Dream Hammocks and find them useful. It's great for pulling you closer to the head end, as intended. I find it's also a handy attachment point for anything I want...
Sorry I am going to miss the Sky Clan and everyone this weekend.
Got notified early this week that my kids have been invited to test for their Black Belts (this weekend and next).
Hope to catch you...
Bob.
It will be too difficult for Dutch to choose from all the great suggestions. So just go with something simple.
edit:
"Bob" as the name of the hammock. Just noticed I posted directly below...

Great to see everyone, new and old.
First time at Mohawk, I liked it. Really nice spot.
Thanks to all for sharing food, stories and knowledge.
