Gone for the weekend, will leave up until Tuesday
Keeping both items up at $150 each until tomorrow and then I'm gonna take this post down to put up some new items. Anyone interested in purchasing either, feel free to DM.
Hammock and pack both lowered to $150! Lowest I'm going to go. Will keep them up for another week before delisting.
No worries, let me know if you change your mind.
I tried looking online and there's a wide range. Seems like it averages about $40-$50
Backpack and hammock still available.
I've never even had regular shock cord break. Was just wondering if there was any point to put it on guylines for a Dyneema tarp
Well if you have it pulled tight, I don't see how shock cord would help if you tripped over it. Would only really give extra stretch if it had already loosened up and the tension was on the shock...
Well even with the shockcord, it's running parallel to my zing it providing tension. If it breaks, the line is still there, though I've never had shock any which cord break. I'm just wondering if...
About to purchase a Dyneema tarp (cuben fiber) and am coming from a silnylon tarp. With the silnylon tarp, I made self tensioning guylines to take care of sag. I understand that Dyneema tarps have...
Tarp has been SOLD. The other two items are still available at the moment. I can send it overseas, just will have to check on shipping and factor that into the price.
*bump* Dangerbird 15% off!!! $170
Weight without brain is 3.88lbs, with is 4.24lbs.
We could definitely do that. Year model is 2015. I'll have to throw it on the scale when I'm home in a bit and let you know.
Still available
Correct, it is a size medium. According to their sizing guide, it fits waist sizes between 27-48".
I have several pieces of gear I'm selling that are in new condition. I originally bought them for my ex, but we split up not long after and they've been sitting in the closet since.
1. Dream...
Withdrawn, PM me if you're still interested.
Items are still available
Gonna leave this up for one more week to see if anyone wants them.
Any takers?
Willing to sell separately. $150 for topquilt, $75 for underquilt. $200 if you buy both
Its removable, I usually leave it at home. Haven't done alot of cold weather hanging so I haven't tested it to see if there's any value in it, but I've heard a few people mention condensation issues.
So 20 on both? Is the overcover even any use then? And thanks Chriss for being so patient and walking me through this.
So 20 degree underquilt. Now considering I'm trying to stay Ultralight, would you guys still recommend a 20 degree TQ or would a 30 or 40 TQ be better/more versatile? Also considering I have and...
I just ordered my 3rd Dream Hammock if that tells you anything. First was a Dangerbird, 2nd a Thunderbird, This one is a Sparrow. I would never buy another hammock brand.
My Dangerbird is 72...
I think I might be overthinking it too lol
It's just a big purchase for me and I don't want to regret it later.
I've heard it quoted that an overcover increases the internal ambient temperature by about 10 degrees. I took that to mean that it would not affect the UQ, but would allow for a lighter TQ. Am I...
You guys have convinced me to go 20 on the UQ instead of 30. I'm still divided on the topquilt. Seems people are less unified in that. I'm assuming due to how each individual sleeps.
I really don't plan on going below 30. So you think I should get a matching set though despite the overcover?
Yes, both are rated at 45 degrees
I live in NC and am about to order my first set of down quilts. I'm planning on going 30 degrees for the underquilt. I think that should be plenty sufficient for NC weather. What I'm debating is if I...
This is a misnomer I hear often quoted. Heat doesn't rise. Hot air rises. Heat just radiates.
Width is 48 inches. AHE says its good for someone up to 6 feet tall. I'm 5'10" and it's plenty long for me. Would definitely be enough for someone a little taller.
Its a regular. No dimensions on the website. Looks short in the picture because of the angle.
$200 for the pair. Paypal. Will accept cash if local (Gastonia, NC).

Both in New condition, black inside and outside
Ditto, I shove my tq and uq in the bottom of my pack in a trash compactor bag. Folks of the sleeve better than in a stuff sack which ends up taking up less space. Only stuff sacks I use are a ditty...
Wondering how low people have gotten the 1 season jarbidge to.

Great information, thank you for all your time describing it for me. This is a big help.
Knife reduced to $110
Yeah, I have a half-wit in hexon 1.0. I really love the feel and stretch of the fabric, but I'm about to order another Dream Hammock in a lightweight single layer and he doesn't do single layer...
I was wondering how the stretch of 1.6 HyperD compares to 1.0 Hexon. Also was curious as to how the softness of 1.6 Hexon compares to the softness of 1.6 Hyper D. Which of the 1.6s would you say is...
