NS has been sold....thanks for looking.
800 fill...around 22 ounces
No overfill. I just looked at the JRB site for the first time in several years. I assume they are the same quilt. Anyone else know?
Hi...long time absence from a long time member.:)
I've not been hiking/camping like I once did. Life has a way of getting in the way. I've got for sale the original JRB Nest or the No Sniveller....
Congrats on the purchase.
I love my JRB bridge hammock ,but sleeping on my stomach in it is beyond uncomfortable. It's like your in a straight jacket.
I can relate. I disappeared also. Found out there is more to life than just hammocks.:D
So I'm back on the ground. Just kiddin.
.........
Their a dying breed.....their all BB Warbonnett hangers now.
Like you said, your hanging method would have much to do with comfort.
I started out with a HH Expedition and then tried several other brands. I ALWAYS had issues with my feet curling on the sides...
Welcome to the forum from a fellow Lawrenceviller.:D
That needs to happen ASAP IMO. To go with this maybe some kind of tarp that would work REAL well with bigger bridge hammocks.
Sorry about your loss.
Remember to place hands on your chest/abdomen while laying on your back or you may be screaming "Boa Constrictor".:scared:
Underquilts fit better in this hammock than any...
My Camp USAs Nanos have never let me down.
Get the No Sniveller. You will love it. For whatever reason, the Speer top quilt has never caught on around here. If I remember correctly, it is made a little smaller than some folks like.
Here's what I was thinking might work. Or not.
Have something like a "Gear Swap" section on the forum. For example, I have a Bear Mtn. Bridge hammock and would really like to try out the...
That's their problem.:D
I love the idea of earplugs but I want to hear Jason Vorhees as he's about to slice my head off in my hammock.:scared:
I'd use them if others were camping with me.
Yep that wider bridge does have it's issues.:(
I had a Claytor jungle with the net and found it uncomfortable.
Go here for a masters degree in hammocking.:D

I love my BMBH but am itching to try a Blackbird. Seems like it would solve the issues of side sleeping I've had with other gathered end hammocks. Not to mention the tighter tarp options I could...
Amen brother.
My bad. You are correct sir.:boggle:
You lucky dog.:D Yea I've started at the back end of Panther Creek several times.
Love the scenic drive by the Tugaloo river. Toccoa.........home of the worlds strongest man, Paul Anderson...
I've hung there a few times. Really pretty place. Way too crowded on the weekends and holidays as it is said to be one of the states most popular trails along with Panther creek which is my favorite...
When you say it will probably be in the low 40's, I would not bet on that. What you need to do is get some backyard testing in before you leave. Always....repeat....Always prepare for temps at least...
Not that cold in Georgia......have you checked the thermometer tonite?:D
5 degree windchill. Did I mention the time I hung in N.Georgia in 10 degree temps?:boggle:
Oh.......welcome to the...
Welcome to the site. Some of my favorite hanging is in your neck of the woods. Panther Creek and Broad River Trail.
Stock suspension works for some. A much better option that would allow you to adjust the hammock much easier and not have to modify anything would be the JRB Tri-Glides....

Gordon you should have headed to Brasstown Bald (highest point in Georgia). I heard the predicted temps were gonna be -5 or less.:boggle: I wish I could have gone.
Pass the purple grape juice please.

I'd forget about the space blanket. Although some use them. Pads work fine for many folks around here. JRB weathershield might add an additional 6-10 degrees at most. Put pads in hammock, not between...
Yes you can just use your bag unzipped as a top quilt. Most here prefer using a top quilt such as those sold by jacks r better www.jacksrbetter.com
Check out Just Jeffs (member here) site. It is...
I gave myself (I know pretty lame) that trail name at whiteblaze before I got into hanging. After I bought my FF pack. I wish I had chosen another name but I dont wanna be like Vanilla Ice or...
Nice choice Neo.
Nicely done as usual.

Yea I've read about the ridge issues also. I dont think theres really any concrete science about it. Could be wrong though. I've never noticed any issues using my RidgeRest. The 3.1 R-value sounds...
A top loader for winter is a great idea. A pair of down booties and or a weathershield would help your cold feet. www.jacksrbetter.com/Weather%20Shield.htm
Looks great. Especially the new pic of my hammock and tarp.:D
Welcome to the site.
1) My first hammock was a Hennessy. It's kinda the gateway hammock. Some like it as their favorite, many go on to other hammocks.
2)Cant speak for the undercover/overcover....
The barn shape Pan was refering to is what I was looking for.
Any pictures of this anywhere? I forgot all about that method.
Welcome to the site Ghosthiker.
When I used a Hennessy Expedition,I used a wally world blue pad(s) as well as a Thermarest ridgerest. I used a Speer SPE. It really worked great....
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good hang.
I added this feature to my JRB 11x10 cat tarp. Gives me just enough extra room so I'm not squeezing in and out of my JRB bridge so much. Thanks Grizz.
