I bought directly from OES about a year ago . . . and received the exact product in about a week. Nothing but kudos coming from me. And it is very sad to see that this is back AGAIN.

I have the 150 and Z-Liners. I also made six down tubes that stuff into the underbelly of the tarp. My last hang, I was too hot (temps were in the mid 40s).
The Z-Liner versus underquilt: you...
Here is a short video that I used that explains how to put the whoopie on the Clark:

I replaced Clark's suspension with an All-In-One Whoopie Sling with no ill-effects. I did it just as you described, and have never looked back . . . .
I also second MountainGoat's snake skins. I have two pairs, one for the Clark tarp, and one for my OES tarp. The snake skins is of the highest quality, and works flawlessly.
Absolutely -- I haven't received the hammock or the liner back yet, but when I do, I intend on setting it up in the back yard and seeing how long (and how cold) I can handle it.
I, too, took advantage of the 15% off sale and bought the Z-liner for my 150. I had to send my hammock back to them to get it retro-fitted for the new liner -- free.
I should be getting it back...
Be careful hanging at the shelters, as they get exceptionally crowded during the Fall Weekends.
Harriman is an exceptionally beautiful place to hike/camp.
I believe that this is the link: http://www.dplightweightbackpackinggear.com/
I just bought two packages of it yesterday (same price 4.95 per 33 feet), and I plan to swap out my tarp guy lines with it. I currently have 2.38mm reflective line...
If I were to do it all over again, I would upgrade to the Vertex. As it is, I ended up buying an OES Deluxe to get better coverage. The Vertex is bigger than the Deluxe . . . . and the cost would...
I wish I would have done so. I bought the standard (big mistake), and now I've had to purchase a new tarp (darn): OES MacCat Ultra.
I haven't had the opportunity to try the larger tarp yet,...
I, too, have the NX-150, and I also switched out the stock suspension for whoopies. (I ordered the all-in-one from whoopieslings.com).
The process is VERY easy. Whoopieslings has made videos for...
I ordered a MacCat Deluxe in Olive Green on Friday, October 25. I asked for him to seam-seal the tarp for me.
I received the package, via USPS Priority Mail, on Saturday, November 9th.
Total...
I, too, placed an order on Friday (10/18) and within 2 hours, had shipping confirmation. My packaged arrived Monday (10/21).
Exceptional speed! Exceptional service! Exceptional products!
I went ahead and purchased the KAQ New River (Apex) for use with my Clark NX-150, and I have had the opportunity to use it three times, twice this past weekend where temps dropped into the low 40s. ...
I essentially have the same setup for my tarp, but I tied the knot directly to the plastic toggle, thus eliminating the need for the S-biner.
SmokeBait -- do you have plans to start making the All-in-Ones again?

Last night, I spent a VERY rainy night in the Catskills. It poured for 6 solid hours, and the tarp on my NX-150 (Standard) did its job superbly. I was comfy . . . AND DRY . . . for the whole night....
I use MountainGoat's tarp skins; they work PERFECTLY for the tarp.
Drop her an email with your tarp size, and she'll make them to fit.
Placed an order (however slight) last night, and received a shipped notification a few hours later.
Efficient!
He is looking for something to do; otherwise, his wife has threatened to make him clean the house . . . .
I imagine the reason for the 4 zippers is two-fold:
1) so that the user could opt to use either the screen, no screen, or stormshield.
2) so that the zippers could be unzipped, starting up near...
I ordered mine over the weekend and got them yesterday. Superb product. Took out the tarp, sleeved them up, and happy with the results!
MountainGoat produces excellent products.
Just made the jump before it gets much colder up here in the North East and purchased the KAQ New River for the NX-150. More information once it arrives, and maybe a pic or two.
I, too, had some of the same reservations about the size/volume of the NX-150. The hammock (and all its accessories) is slightly bigger than my one-person EMS Velocity 1 tent that I use. The weight...
I live in the Hudson Valley of New York, just on the other side of the mountain from West Point.
But then, that is a bit of a ride from Central NJ. . . .
I am looking to move away from a sleeping pad and into the realm of UQs. My research has led me to the New River, but I am still looking for some answers to what may be simple questions:
How well...
Just this past weekend (Saturday, April 20), I used my Clark NX-150 for the first time during an overnight in the Catskill Mountians (Mid-New York). I was always a tent camper, but leaped into the...
