Brand new Tensa4 Tarp Extensions for sale. Tried to set up once (for about 30 minutes) and realized they don't really work with the suspension length of a bridge hammock, which I use with my Tensa4....
That’s a good idea. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the specifics. I’ll try that out.
Was the ridgeline loose? Each time I tried, the ridgeline was *very* loose after I sat down.

Thanks, Shug. I’ve been looking at these pics, too. I have the RR head end on the side with the outside base poles. I was trying to get some extra width for my shoulders.
Did you loop anything...
How well does it usually work with the RR? I feel like the foot end dogs should be shorter, but I’m not sure how much that would help the head end.
Also, my version is with the ‘biner on the end...
I don’t know. The ridge line is pretty slack when I get in. The picture here is after some more tweaks and have (apparently) made things worse.
...
Also, the seat height is pretty dang high, even for me at 6’1”.

Ok. I’m doing something wrong. I have the apex one both ends slipped over the pole, base is ~3-4 ft, and the poles are over the legs.
But ... at my head end the leg pole is right under my...
I see that, and have the paper version, but I only shows amsteel. Good news is I just tried it with webbing and it seems to work.

Of course. Thanks. I’ve even seen that video.
Doesn’t quite answer the boom stake with straps. I just want to know if there’s a reason that wouldn’t work well.

Quick question, how do you use the straps with the orange screw, and will the straps work with the boom stakes?

When were the new feet introduced?
Doh. I bought a T4 about 2 months ago. Any way to upgrade to the daisy chains?

I bought mine primarily for a Grand Canyon trip later this year. At least that was my excuse that I “needed” one :-)

I just ordered a stand with webbing. If I wanted to make my own UCRs, are there dimensions you'd recommend?
I build the occasional website for friends. I actually put together the current site for Cedar Ridge Outdoors and have a web app for Trail Life troop management at TroopManager.com
I’m potentially...
Awesome. Glad to hear about the performance. I love CRO gear, but always good to have firsthand colder/wetter UP confirmation. I ordered a 40* UP top quilt a couple of weeks ago for a Grand Canyon...
See my reply above. Let me know if that sounds like it might work.

As for the vendor details...I did a random number generator and excluded myself, and each Spaceweasel could only be drawn for one of the limited items.
Below are the results.

Merry Christmas! My Spaceweasel was very nice to send me some Dutch clips and the rain kilt I've been eyeballing for over a year. Thank you secret spaceweasel!
Yes, though I was debating waiting until Dec 25 to list them. BUT... I can do it now. Full details will be announced on Christmas day.
So, let's give a special thanks to the below vendors (and a...

Just a reminder to everyone to mark the spreadsheet with SENT and RECEIVED.
And to actually send your SpaceWeasel packages in time for Christmas. :-)

I actually think UP may be a little warmer than APEX for the same weight - not really based on personal testing, but on Cedar Ridge’s videos (and comfort rating builds).

Cedar Ridge Outdoors did a video about it.

I do this too, but you do have to be a little careful when loosening the Beetle Buckles - hold the dogbones so the RR doesn’t slip off.

I put my RR in my 10’ catch all and it was almost too big, so I think 8’ would be perfect after rolling the triangles into the ends.
