If you're still looking, I have a Bug Sock I bought from Dream Hammock about 2 years ago that really hasn't seen much use. Maybe 1 trip of 2-3 nights. The ridgeline length is 101" and used his...

I received my cuben tarp /doors (11') last week, and wow! this stuff is seriously lightweight. It was a bit over the estimated weight, I got 7.8oz w/ stuff sack on my scale, but no complaints here....
That is an awesome set you'll be taking! I love the picture of the hammocks in the stuff sacks, beautiful shot
Ha! I just happened to remember this thread, so I wanted to check back to see if anyone updated. I'm glad I could help you get that order in a few hours earlier

I'm 6' and about 275lbs, the regular length burrow is perfect for me. Just long enough that i can cover most of my head with it (not long enough to tuck). I also have a golite quilt in Long, and I...
A bit late to this, but Merry Christmas, and Happy New Years everyone!
Congrats on the Hammock, and welcome to the forums! And Like Zilla said, be sure to break in that beverage pocket :jj:
Looking forward to trying panel pulls! My current tarp doesn't have them, so I just used my trekking poles to prop the tarp sides a bit wider. I do have an HG hex ordered though, so I will...
Ha! I never caught the alternate meaning, Teadawood. I'm currently waiting for a Hex Tarp w/ doors. That camo Winter Palace must be a sight, please share some pics once you have received it!! ...

Hey gang,
I haven't yet received the hammock, but I couldn't wait and had to share anyway!:boggle:
It will arrive Saturday, so I'll follow up once it arrives and I have a chance to set...
I hope y'all are starting to feel better! Randy if that couldn't keep you warm enough I don't know what would! :scared:
Not specifically for my hammock setup, but I'm looking to grab a pair of merino long johns. I sprung for a top earlier this year and am completely sold. Also, I will be avoiding HG as I really...
I am fine with just the tarp, though living near coastal California, I tend to have a pretty different definition of "cold" than many other hangers!
I didn't know he was doing pack covers, I may have to look into that..
And as many of you are aware, the waiting game begins :scared:
I went with the standard size/fill 40º Burrow with the snap-closure footbox, and a 40º Phoenix. I have a 20º Incubator that is a...
I just got a set of stingerz today as well! I'll be testing them out tomorrow, can't wait!:lol::lol:
It's on my Nalgene Bottle, along with a few other outdoorsie type stickers, and of course a few choice breweries as well!
This is awesome, I may have to steal it!:lol:
Thanks for all the warm welcomes!
I saw the thread for the Boggs hang, but unfortunately I work weekends and couldn't attend. I will definitely keep my eyes open for the spring hang, as I hope...
For those who have hiked the Lost Coast Trail in NorCal, is it possible to do so hanging?
Thanks!!
My Dad got me into hammocking instead of tenting. When I was younger, that was the preferred method of shelter for any camping trips we did. I remember going camping with some friends, and there...
Hi! I've lurked here for quite a long time, but figured I should get more involved in such a great community!
I've hammocked since I was a kid, but since discovering this forum, have taken...
I think it was 20% off the purchase, though I am not sure. Hopefully someone can confirm that, or call me crazy! :scared:
But, like others have said, they are worth the price even without a...
Great, Thanks for the response!
Anyone know how accurate the advertised weights are for the quilt?
Thanks for the video! Very clear with helpful tips to boot:laugh:
This will definitely help for my upcoming project
I just got the shipping notice for my standard 20* Incubator! I was order #461, and didn't request any rushes, for those who are wondering :)
