I like your videos and you weren't who I was thinking of when I made my comments (don't recall the video you mentioned), but whether you accept cash or product, it's still payment.

Yep. They paid a bunch of youtubers to pimp their aliexpress products.
Took it out for a trip this weekend. Here's a picture of the inner:

Finally had a chance to set up my wife's custom printed chameleon...she loves it. Inner layer is a collage of her wildlife drawings. It turned out great.

I have a 12' hammock from Jared and like it a lot.
I'm going to have to try this mod on the set of buckles I tore off my XLC because you couldn't loosen them with any weight in the hammock.
Mesh, one piece. A pouch at the large end for the ridgeline is nice.
Thank you for not depreciating your brand by selling cheap gear imported from China. I'm going to check this brand out for my next quilt.
Not the OP, but I have the same quilt in 0deg. Haven't used it yet, but it seems well designed and made.
Lots of loft. Compared to my EE quilts, it is cut to save every ounce possible, but...
Bushwack is the best original camo I've seen come out in the cottage industry. I agree...it's awesome.
Sigh....

Ordered two quilts 11/23, still waiting. Have a trip 3rd week of January (fingers crossed).
*raises hand*
Interested in seeing updated weights with the new fabric, assuming it's lighter than the 70d.
Ahh...good point about the width. You could do multiple seams, but that defeats the purpose.
Curious what the pattern looks like up close.
I wonder if you could make an integrated bugnet gathered end hammock with a "tube" of that fabric using a zipper for the seam (and an internal ridgeline).
I'd really like to do this but my wife is 100lbs and I'm 225 and I have the same concern. I imagine myself catapulting her into the air as I get in my hammock, or dropping her into the ground as I...
Works great, better if the top top quilt is wider. I've coupled a 50deg underquilt under a 20deg underquilt and slept comfortably when it was 0deg out.
Ok, that's good. Must just be me then.

Looks like the site is down....sad to see.
I own two of your quilts and they've served my wife and I well. Hope to provide you with more business in the future.
Merry Christmas.
It looks like a traditional top quilt with hemmoroids.
Just ordered one in Bushwack (really like that camo pattern). The 15% odd coupon sealed the deal and I hope to test the 0deg rating this winter. I'll try to post pictures and a quick review when it...
Agree. They advertise these things like they're portable tree forts .

People seem to have no problem paying for the cost of other cottage gear made in the states. There's always a market for quality domestic goods.
If I want something made in a Chinese sweatshop,...
Made in China.
I'll pass.
Not sure if I'd want to try it, but I bet a little baby powder on the pad would get rid of that noise.
That was my experience as well.
You could do an out-and-back hike of McAfee Knob and Tinker Cliffs.
One of my favorite hikes near Pearisburg is hiking up to the Rice Fields shelter on the AT. It's a little over 7mi from the...
...or you could put a zip tie on it. That's cooler though. :)
I like cinch buckles, but the Warbonnet style drive me absolutely mad for precisely the problem you suggest. I like my Warbonnet, but I ditched those buckles after my first trip.
I think the website just gives a generic rating for 1.6 fabrics....something very conservative like 200lbs. Dutch lists Hexon 1.6 being good for 300-350lbs. I'm a bit over 200lbs but figured I'd be...
I have a double layer blackbird and a double layer 11ft Dutch netless - like both, but was looking for a lightweight (single layer), yet comfortable hammock (12ft) hammock with an integrated net.
...
Looks good. What type of fabric is the outer layer on the hammock body?
Shame they discontinued MC
Thanks for the detailed answer, makes perfect sense.
I haven't seen a weight rating yet. Has that been established?
I'm guessing that hole is to allow you to attach a tarp directly to the suspension.
Doh. I remembered seeing this in another thread and thought that sale was just for people who needed delivery before xmas.
Google "Mountain Lion Mating Call". Now imagine that coming out of nowhere 10-15 yards away in the middle of the night. Scared the ever living #$&+ out of me.
That's great, I'll definitely be in touch. Your work looks fantastic.
I love the ATACS FG netting. Is that still available?
Really neat. I like the idea of doing some wide field space images.
Understand there would be licensing issues, but it would be really neat to print some of the better camo patterns...I really...
Psst - if you search on ebay you can find them for four bucks with free shipping...
Keep it alive!
