FINALLY! A company that really understands me! Switching all of my gear to HG :)
Oh, I see what you are referring to. Interesting, 72"/6' seems short for an 11' ridgeline.
~
The baseline length for the WD11 is 160". The distance between the baseline center guy outs is 72". Then 44" on either side to the door guy out. So 72+44+44=160
Welcome to the club! The TL is my favorite hammock.
It is the 850 fill. The UQ is just over 1 year young and has been used 4 times (twice in the yard and twice in the woods).

Thanks for sharing your experience. Self video techniques like you showed here take so much extra effort - much appreciated!!
When you say "how far back the doors come" are your doors pulling back inside of the tarp further than the 2 corners on the same end or do you mean the doors do not extend out away from the inside of...

Welcome to the forums from Southeast TN
That's some really good gear to get started with in hammocking! Be careful, hammocking is a slippery slope!

Bump. #1 is still available.

I tried a single layer 1.6 in both regular width and wide and for me (at about 280 lbs at the time) it had too much stretch. I went back to double layer 1.6. At your weight, a single layer...

I think it has more to do with the fabric - support and width.
I have a 12' double layer Trail Lair in Hex 1.6 regular width (about 60"). Totally supportive of my weight (275) and I feel...

It is a symmetrical hammock - no set lay. The peak shelf option is a sewn in shelf so it is considered a permanent attachment.
I got a peak shelf and an optional Zip-It Peak bag on one of my...

I have 12' hammocks and use a 13' Winter Haven tarp with Dutch Stingerz on both ends of the tarp - no issues with the hammock straps at all. The Stingerz create the "V" that avoids contact with...

My SLD Winter Haven tarp gave about as good of coverage as you will probably find in a hammock tarp. My WH has 13' ridgeline and is the extra wide fabric.
Yep, there is an Amok Draumr inside...
Reading the "Simply Light Designs - Who I Am" probably explains why Jared has never appeared to be the one to want the sub-forum. It also paints a very clear picture of what one can expect and what...

Glad to hear this has happened!
Thanks to the mods for the current effort in place to make the sub-forum.
