I laid the seam inside-up along a long bench in my kitchen. I used full shotgun shell boxes to keep slight tension on the seam every 12-18 inches. Kept it steady and made it easy to do a neat job.

I have a 32" spreader for use with beetle buckles doubling with my kids. One pole provides plenty of separation, particularly if one of the trees has some good diameter to it. I'll put the spreader...
FWIW, that's what the carabiner that failed was being used for.
The other two were slightly bent and were used to connect the tarp to the CRL.
Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll check this...
I'm new to the forum and to hammocking. Figured out real quick that a CRL was for me. I was looking for a substantial carabiner that would coil nicely with the rest of the CRL if left attached. I...
Received and thanks! Appreciate the responses. This really is a great community of folks. Taking down thread until I can replenish funds! Up to three complete setups now.
26.1 oz
UGQ WinterDream 13', 4 panel pulls, seam sealed, 4 shock cord loops, stuff sack
Weight does not include Dutch 0.344 tarp pole mods, listed as 4.8 oz for two of them on the website. ...
I'll weigh it tonight and post it up. I'm not a backpacker so weight is not a factor for me right now. Mostly canoe and car camping.
I recently purchased a UGQ WinterDream 13' from their PennyPincher series. I got panel pulls installed and bought some poles from Dutch. That thing is HUGE. I am using a spreader bar to sleep...
PM sent with detailed questions about the UQ. Thank you for the response. As posted above, other responses continue to be welcome and thread will be removed if that is no longer the case.
Edited...
As the subject says, I'm looking for an UQ (or several), preferably rated in the 20F range. Weight is not a factor, as I'm shooting for canoe camping and car camping. If you've got some lightly...
Thanks! Yeah, I was just looking at the wrong photo.

Am I missing something?
Those Big Agnes string lights seem to be hard to find in the interwebs. Anybody still sell them. Found some similar USB powered ones, but would probably like to take advantage of your search for a...
What color is the tarp? Possible to post a photo?
I'll take it. PM will follow shortly. Thanks!
I'll take the misc lot for $15. Pondering on the rest but wanted to go ahead and commit to the misc
Edit: Sticking with just the misc lot. Resisted temptation successfully. Payment sent
I'll take the other pair for $28. PM about to go out
The Burrow, I'll take it
I just got an XL pillow from HG. Speaking of that loop, what exactly is it used for? Why does a pillow need to be tethered to a hammock? It's pretty long, too.
I'll take it.
I'll take the BBXLC.
I've actually read several of your posts when I've searched the Raven specifically on HF! It's exactly the same cost in the configuration I'm looking at with the Eldorado. The main deciding factors...
Hi all, been lurking for a while reading what I can when I can. I've tent camped here and there all my life; 36 yrs old today actually! The last couple of trips have been canoe camping on the...
