so i'm guessing you just girth hitched it to the d-ring or gross gain or what ever is on your tarp and left the rest the same? i know i say it earlier but i can't remember the length of your buried...

honestly 1/8 Amsteel is overkill for hanging hammocks, but if it makes you warm and fuzzy, feel free to use it :)...

i'll have to try a different pillow, being really tired, maybe a longer hammock, ear plugs, and starting with a nap or just relaxing and reading a book to get more used to it and condition my brain...
i'll agree with you a point.... you may feel differently after hauling around a heavy pack for 20+ miles with around 10 miles of it going up and down hills in less than 2days with no conditioning and...

you can always go to joann fabric and buy voile fabric, it's the same stuff as shown earlier. the best part is the fabric is 60" wide and you can go as long as you want so if you have 9' hammock you...
