Henry Coe State Park (South of San Jose off 101) is another option. But it would be more of a ride there then backpack in.
But there are lot's of places to hang.

I can say that my 2010 NX-200 is configured so I can use either. :D

Do you think a 45 degree elbow would put less stress on the the stand, or do you think the 90 degree offers less leverage...
