I'd like to know how you have been able to move around in there without leaving a trail...:scared:
Very pretty. No vampires to worry about!
That's exciting news! Congrats and good luck!!
I never thought of this but I think it's because the aluminum won't bend to make the proper arc the way the fiberglass would. Also as someone pointed out, the diameter of the poles would have to be...
So sorry to hear the sad news.
Wow, pretty colors!
Not to take anything from the candid nature of the picture but this is my favorite thread ever !
Payment sent. Thank you!
I'll take it. You can PM me for paypal information.
The detail is unreal. Very nice work. I'd hate to take a bite out of it.
It's not ideal but will work as more of a chair than a lounging set up. You basically just push the bug net away from you toward the center of the hammock and sit down on the bug net/hammock.
It looks like it would fit just fine.
Rip stop by the roll will send you samples as well. I wouldn't say the 2.2 feels 'soft' but it's by no means rough or uncomfortable. It has a fairly firm lay with very little stretch. I have a DIY...
Now that's hilarious!
I have a TX-270 and would vote that it's worth the money. It's not that much more expensive if you consider all the features. It's convenient, very comfortable and feels very durable. I bought a...
I tried to click on the survey link and it didn't work.
Wow! Stitching looks great, nice work!!
Ha! Great story. Things sound much scarier night. I had an owl screech near me about a month ago that scared me half to death.
That's just about how I ordered mine. I wouldn't change a thing.
Looks better than my first DIY! I was too embarrassed to post pictures but I have 3 down and each one gets better, and faster. Nice work.
That stinks! I'd recommend reaching out to Warbonnet but if it were mine I'd get some black thread and hand stitch it.
Looks great! Congratulations!!
I'm developing quite a quite a quiver and my most comfortable one depends on my mood at that time. They each have their niche. For me it comes down to fabric choice and extra features. I have or...
I highly recommend the 11'. I have a few 11' and tried a 10' gathered end once and gave it away. Just didn't work for me. I am also 5'10".
I hear ya'. I spent weeks looking at fabric options, colors and add-ons. That was half the fun though!
I could see this as a made to order item vs. making a big investment in time or money. There's a good bit of similar product out there already. I like the micro adjustability of the cinch buckles...
I have a DL Sparrow and a Clark TX-270. They are both great Hammocks with a different feel. The Clark is more utilitarian and I really like the way the integrate the bug net and over cover. It feels...
Ha! Same here
Ha, I've been waiting since mid-November and mine should be there when I get home on Friday! Can't wait!!
Great news! Mine should arrive any day !
The hammock is real cool, after all this is a hammock forum right!? However, I love the bike!!
Thanks for posting the review. I can't wait to try one out.
Great idea!
The XLC comes dialed in and ready to go, at least mine did. You shouldn't need to make changes to the ridgeline length.
Looks great!
Thanks everyone. I actually did 3 hammocks at once, 2 of them worked great at 110" and one is being a bit cantankerous. It's getting closer though.
I'm having a tough time getting my ridgeline length dialed in on my first DIY. I made an 11' hammock so at 83% my Ridgeline length should be 110" correct? Is that measured by the 'span' while the...
Very exciting! Congrats and good luck!!!!!!!
I'm not buying it. There's a hidden message in there, in fact i'll be there's a diamond in the hammock
Great idea and nice work!
Just a thought here. Are you getting rabies shots?
Oh man, I would have freaked out. I'm not sure what it about them but I don't like those creatures at all. I've never heard of them biting someone ! You have some serious bad luck.
Nicely done!
Thanks for walking through the use of the Whoopie Slings. I'm thinking about that route for my suspension.
Great photos and an amazing area.
Payment has been received and i'll ship today.
PM sent for payment information.
It's time to thin out the gear bin a bit so I am offering up my double 1.1 layer XLC. I bought this about this time last year and have about 6 nights in it. This was purchased as a blemished model...
Nice work. I'll be trying my first DIY this weekend. The Dark Olive is one of my favorites.
Hooray!! As a TX-270 owner I'm excited about this. How well will it fit on regular gathered end hammocks?
