I bought a cheap Walmart camp blanket, that has a sewn seam piece, and cut the corners and ran 4 pieces of shock cord through it...works very well.

The gnarwhal gear tarp on Amazon is a decent 12' x 9' hex tarp for around $30 bucks. (price as of typing this)

I would love to go, but I can't afford it...could I stop by, I live pretty close?
