What campground on the northern end would accommodate hammocks
Not this time, 120 miles with in an overnighter doesn't leave much time for anything other than peddling
Ride north, camp at northern end and return south next day. Can do Saturday or Sunday weekend of Nov 9th

In addition to cutting the top rails in half and adding the couplings I made the legs at the foot end 6 inches longer than the head end
I think it would work just add a wide foot to each leg

Check out Stratton mountain and pond on the AT. It's a 39 mile drive NE of Bennington. It's a 17 ml hike and the pond is a great way to wake up in the morning in a hammock.
Overnighter on the AT or LT weekend of Feb 24th. I'll be in the Stratton area that weekend will consider travel out of the area for a hookup. Anyone interested fell free to pm me
