We do occasionally use the VERTEX 2-person as well though not as comfortable as the WBBB XLCs, you would be amazed with how much fun can be had in...
Shug,
I'm WAY too big (6'0 #285) for most if not all Singles but bought and have built several DL's. As a full time hanger, I have several DL's of varying materials most of which are the 1.6 and up...
Very well done review!! I have over 300 nights in my 1.7 DL XLC. I have tried several including DIY and ALWAYS return to the XLC. Im 6' and 285lbs so the system will certainly be different for me...
Kyle,
You guys are awesome! I was just getting ready to make my "monthly" order of cool stuff from RSBTR. I will have to wait for the Winter12 Template...

Very well done! Looks solid and know you are proud of the work, at least I would be if mine were that nice. However, you might have to build a stand though living in Iowa... ... j/k, I...

Appreciate the info. Im expecting to flip the canoe once or twice while there because we are "ca-nOObs" and am hoping to keep the important stuff dry. Also, if there is enough airspace in the...
I have a ULA catalyst and am going into the BWCA this summer. I hear lots of folks using a "compactor bag" to line the inside of their packs to waterproof them... what size bag would you use for the...
I cant believe you didn't get that Helinox in Camo... ROFL Nice setup!
I have the 450 with lid... Awesome piece of kit there. BTW, It will also hold whiskey or Scotch with the lid. Like a sippy cup for grownups :) Will also prevent spillage or as some say, "alcohol...
DITTO! Every time I light off my camp stove I start MmmmHmmmm and go into Carl mode. Too funny. I have learned quite a bit from Shug. Though my friend here at work got me interested in Hammocks,...
Got a New Vertex and a 2013 NX250 (got the 250 here on HF) Really like them both. The VERTEX is the least comfortable of the two but that is purely based on how "motionless" your sleeping companion...
Excellent work. Appreciate the info!
Still trying vainly to find me some COSCTO Quilts.... Our Costco down here in VA Beach don't carry them.
There are many outfitters in Ely,MN. Pick one and rent a canoe and paddle and go!
Sweet! looks good. You might want to try linelocs from one of the vendors like diy gear supply... might stop the slippage. Nice work.
I must agree, this stand is VERY good quality and at 300lbs, I feel perfectly safe using it. As a full time hammocker since the beginning of last year (April,2014) this stand has gotten me off the...
Me too... seems to be an annual addiction fix for me...
Wife wants one now.... ROFL. She loves her hammock... this would allow fishing as well... HAHA
Fantastic work! I'm very impressed. Thanks for taking the time to share with us. By the way... Dig the stripes!

I think the carrier hates delivering these things.... The box was dented pretty good on an end. You might stamp the boxes with "Heavy" or something to let them know when they try to lift, it will...
And another order goes on the list... says we are up to 137 at this point... Im #138
Can't wait
Thanks for making them avail Shug. I appreciate your service to our community!
