It’s more akin to Columbia’s Omni-heat than a space blanket. I’m not worried about condensation considering it’s going to be for a summer quilt/ UQ cover

Pac Forrest near rainier is a nice place for day hikes. It's operated and owned by UW. Also look into the Olympic forest. Tons of trails there as well.
