Great. I’ll be there the 23-25. If I remember I’m gonna try to have a pork butt or brisket smoked to bring up with me.

I should be able to make it. Dogs are cool, right?
Finally got to order my dcf camo tarp!
Damnit. No I won't, I forgot about my friends coming in from out of town from the 23rd to the 2nd.
I'll be there the night of the 24th, maybe the 25th also.
I'll be back. I went to the fall hang and had a great time. I've just gotta remember to check back here for the dates.
I’ll also bring some smore stuff.
I was gonna bring some firewood. Is that needed and if so how much?
I’ll be there Thursday afternoon
Glad you asked! I was thinking kind of the same thing.
Ordered a 40* burrow! Will be a great addition for my next trip!
I'll be there Thursday and Friday nights. Solo, possible but unlikely second person.
I'll check back closer to the date about food and all that.
Placed my second order with hammock gear a few days ago. They really went above and beyond! Great people to deal with and If my first product was any indication, top of the line gear also! Can't wait...
Taking a trip to the whites the last week in July. Was really hoping that the new camo would be out in time! ;)
Yeah I'd like to take part. Do any of y'all bring dogs? I'd have to bring mine.
It says on your website that the superfly will be available in a new camo sometime in the summer. Will it be multicam like the blackbird xlc is offered in?
Not gonna work. Go ahead and go to ground and use your tarp for shelter, you'll be fine.
No shame in it. I've backpacked and slept out in the middle of nowhere plenty of nights and I still get the creeps. Gone a couple times by myself to harden up a little bit and I've slept best both...
another vote for shug on youtube
Sorry. I'll ask him to make an "I'll take it" post
Sold to ipokebadgers
woodland camo
Yup, regular length
Im actually looking at upgrading my system to a war bonnet black bird. Seems like a great set up.
I have a never used incubator 20 from hammockgear.com. This has 2oz of over stuff and is the camouflage color. I got it for Christmas, and never got around to using it. I decided I'm going to sell it...
Certainly can't hurt to bring it along.
The thermarest zlite would be great cause you can also go to ground if need be. It seems to be a favorite on the appalachian trail.
Got the same one, only used it a couple times. I haven't had a problem but it does kinda block the wind.
Yeah, if it wasn't for that whole getting laid thing it might work.
This would be so much more comfy then holding my kindle. Thanks for the idea.
I have a singlenest and never understood why everyone says you've gotta use a double nest. My single has perfect amount of fabric.
The only thing I miss about ground sleeping is that I had no problem getting up nice and early.
I can confirm, the bug net does deflect a lot of the wind. A fan is a great idea.
If I had to do it again I'd get a warbonnet black bird.
i have a very nice blow up sleeping pad for times like that.
Don't see whats wrong with the atlas straps. I have used mine with no issues.
Would have to be when I woke up and didn't see my dog anywhere. Only to find her directly beneath my hammock.
In the right area I'm sure it would work, like Ashville.
I'd say there can be never enough.
I have a green and brown single nest with Whoopi slings and atlas straps I'd sell to you for $75 shipped.
Got my underquilt, but still haven't used it.
Didn't think there were left or right hand hammocks.
The knots will weaken the straps.
Where did you get it?
Better to do it right the first time...
****, lightweight.
That's pretty cool.
****... that's crazy
Lots of good tips in here. I usually just lay it under the hammock.
Yeah, I prefer shock cord.
