Awesome sauce. More videos and updates from where you camp overnight would be kewl.
When the printed fabric Chameleons go on sale; I'll have my credit card in hand! (shhh, my wife is in the other room...)
Looks like you're a cottage vendor in the making!
That is a great looking job- congrats!
So, this is storm crow?
I just watched the video last night and it looks like a nice addition to the hammock. I agree with Flash Grundelore about the vertical stitching.
I always enjoy your videos bro! :)
I got mine on Amazon but not long ago there was a drop on Massdrop for the same camo at a heck of a good price. I think it was around $40 bucks.
Most people check FB and/or google ratings. I liked Dutchware on FB and gave a 5 star review.
What Grumpy Squatch said- I found a lot of his points resounding with my own experiences.
Thanks for the video Dutch!

I've just submitted a positive review this morning. Dutch is great. period. One thing people may lose sight of is that Dutch is a custom cottage vendor. If you want the entire corporate experience;...
I guess I'll hang with my Kryptec camo until Dutch offers the wide in prints.
Thanks to all who submitted their feedback!
oh, one last thing: I love camo and it looks like the wide doesn't come in camo. I love that German Flektarn looking camo (I think it's Moss) model in Dutch's video. Maybe I just need to road trip to...
I didn't want to be "that guy" who asks a question without researching and reading, but after reading for 2 days I'm still a bit undecided. I have also watched Shug, Derek Hansen, Sintax77, Dutch,...
I just saw this- I love my Mamajamba tarp! I would have definitely used this if it had been available when I ordered mine. I think it's a great idea.
Sorry to hear of your tribulation but we all acquire these "fireside stories" that are always funny after the fact. Enjoy that bridge hammock!
I have a 19' kevlar Wenonah Itasca and 2 sea kayaks. I didn't get to paddle much last year but hope to this year. Multi day trips on the water would require a cooler for some good dark beers!
Yes, if you camp at the pond. There are acres of land that allow for wilderness camping as long as you're a distance from any water sources.
Tinker's Falls is on the FLT next to the Morgan Hill forest which has a lot of good camping. It's the closest to an Adirondack region outside the 'daks you'll find in central NY.
Just watched it when it came up on my subscriptions. Shug entertaining & informative as always!
I have, as of last summer, stopped taking statins. I feel they are poison and at some time in the near future the medical community will condemn their use. I told my doc that I didn't feel the side...
Nice video! Thanks https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/member.php/18391-georgecarr
yup, me too; err-or!
Looks like this? 160347
Great idea- I like it!
Looks like a perfect spot to hang! Nice.
Where I live we have to bring everything. In the Adirondacks it's not uncommon to have a hot day, warm evening, and then in the wee hours have a cold front drop in. Or on multi day trips have one day...
Just an update; I've had leg cramps in my tent and even once at home. All of the suggestions previously do help- stretching, staying well hydrated, taking cal-mag supplements, drinking electrolyte...
I use my Fronkey when I need it. I use carabiners clipped to mule tape & simply unhook one end at a time and sleeve it over. Takes just a few moments really. One point no one touched on is that in...
Great Idea and design Dutch!
My experience with waterproof clothing has been that for short periods of time almost all versions of materials keep you dry. But spend any length of time hiking in rain or sitting in it and you get...
Spring sounds good!
How was it?
Morgan Hill is great and I go there a lot but winter access and parking is a nightmare. If you ever are looking for company on an overnighter camping hit me up a PM. I'm 5 miles south of you. I use...
Me too, with a Dutchware CRL- wasp on one end & hook on the other.
Thanks for sharing. This is a reminder that things can go sour quickly and the most important survival tool is your mind. Hypothermia steals that tool so posts like this that reiterate that fact and...
Hello and welcome! This is the place for info and answers.
I agree and liked the Spindrift ideas. Chinook was the winner if I'm reading correctly, but lost because it's in use already? So, the search continues? It's interesting that when I worked with some...
Those are some amazing views and pics. Thanks for sharing with us!
I couldn't agree more.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Sweet tarp you have- I hope you enjoy many hangs under it!
I enjoyed reading all the responses to this thread! I've never "stealth Hammocked" anywhere and don't know if I'd want to hang somewhere I'm not supposed to; but rock on to all those who do!
I also use a blanket in summer. It's actually an inexpensive fleece zip up "sleeping-bag" that opens into a blanket. When it's super hot it's nice to have something to curl up with. If it gets cooler...
Hello there Texas from central upstate NY! Welcome to the forums!
What a lucky guy! My stuff is relegated to the basement. The only solace is that I've been finishing the basement off (drywall, flooring, etc) and it's not a cave anymore.
I feel your pain. I usually pick my own gifts since my family has no clue what I want or what to get me. That means I usually know what I'm getting; I just have to wait to get it!
