That was my problem as well. By the time you have something that is thick and wide enough to work, it is not comfortable and heavy and VERY bulky. I think a 30" 1/4 pad for 40+ is doable, but...

The fit and finish is definitely worth the wait. My XLC and ULA Ohm are by far the finest pieces of gear I own.
This sounds awesome. I wish the XLC had 2 zippers.
Dutch's shipping is crazy fast.
I have a WB XLC single layer 1.7 with webbing and dutch clips. Used for 2 nights in my yard.
I will take it, PM inc
I am as well. Is this still available? If so, I am interested
Trip report - I dont care for this pad. It is plenty wide, it would actually work better if I trimmed from the shoulders down. As is, it bunches up and pokes you in the sides/legs. It does not...
Ordered on the 22nd, changed my order completely this Monday, and just shipped! I figured my change would have pushed it back another 2-3 weeks, so I am a happy camper (pun intended)
I canceled my carabiner s and ordered Dutch clips, and then I ended up switching from a 1.1DL to a 1.7SL after reading more about the material and being slightly disappointed in a pad I bought. I...
Actually the wait has been perfect for me, as I've changed my order twice since ive done more research! No more changes though... :)
I know I know, just so impatient. I blame amazon prime. Nice to send money to a cool little shop though too. I replaced a ton of gear in the last month, and now I am just down to waiting on mr...
4 weeks? Thats depressing
I sent an email late last night on updating my order, and it was replied to and order updated first thing this morning. Doesn't get much better than that!
Grumble. 1.1 XLC ordered on the 23rd... no shipment yet. GAHHHH im so impatient.
I think they are just very busy. Their backlog was over 500 orders when I placed mine a few weeks ago
Has anyone used one of these? I just ordered one (Got it shipped for $32, and then they bumped the price up)
30" x 77" x 5/8". Weight: 20 oz.
So a little heavy, but not too bad. Seems like it...
Nevermind, bought a different one
I too would love a follow up on this if someone has time
Well I guess I just joined the club of waiters. Ordered an XLC, but I didn't set up an account! So I guess I will know when I get my shipment notice, but I dont see any way to check status until...
So maybe an Xtherm xl would be the ticket? Anyone try one of those?
Thank you all for the feedback. I had assumed that it was only 25ish inches wide, so that definitely changes things. I was hoping my pad would fit snuggly so it didn't squirt out. Sounds like I...
Okay, so I searched around but didn't see an answer. I've been researching hammocks and thinking I've settled on the RR. My thoughts were to use my 78x20x2.5 big Agnes insulated air core as a...
