these are great drawings, would love to see more ideas. i have aritist friends who do movie sets and he thinks it's a cool idea.
i'm making tarps for the family this summer, having second thoughts, could save hours, will save hours of my time hmmmmmm, dude again good work making a good affordable tarp, this is totally lacking...
these are really competitive prices! and very light. no specs on the fabric though?

no elastic band in the middle, remember elastic is heavy try to avoid it when possible IMHO, the channels on the side are good.

how did you start a thread with only two post? yeah anyways ksbcrocks is right, the angle of the hang will determind how much pull their is. a super tight hammock can pull as much as 2 to 3 times...

you should do continuous loops on the ridge line to pull tight your bug net on both ends. nice hammock : )

the gases or oils or liquids vaporizing from the hight temp may cause fires to explode, well more like popping embers that can and will burn holes in your tarp. but if you can control your fire well,...

2 lbs for ham, bug net (not no see-um too heavy) suspension, ridge line, tarp should come in at about 2 lbs IMHO
