How's its condition, any rips, holes, tears, or funk? Zipper condition? I ask because it appears to have some years on it. Is it a BD foot print or something generic?

Another great experience with my Ghost pepper - This last weekend I brought my dog with me for his first overnight aside from trips in our RV. I brought my hammock and all the fixins but also...
Me too, Spring MAHHA .
I'm going to have to back out, I hope you all have a great time.
Loco Libre Gear has 10% off for today only (10/17) if you can take shipment around Christmas. Check out their Facebook page for details.
I'd be interested in a design like this as well.
Thanks!!
I'm not going to make it this time. I hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend.
Welcome!! There are a lot of great and knowledgeable folks her, and there's me. Have fun!!
Someone correct me of I'm wrong but i don't think Arrowhead quilts have draft collars.
The Cayenne Pepper's draft collars are a huge selling point, I find them essential. They make all the difference in the world at sealing the ends up.
In!! Looking forward to this, I'll bring a big steel griddle and would be more than happy to help cook.
I'll be ordering one here shortly as well.
Yep, Winter is my camping and backpacking season. I haven't even hiked this Summer because with the heat and mosquitos, it's just not enjoyable for me. We have an RV and that's about it for "Summer...
Sounds like an awesome trip. I have the Chair One and a Ground Chair, they are equally comfortable. The Ground Chair just takes one hand to the ground to get out but, you can stretch your legs...
Cayenne Pepper! Besides George's meticulous attention to detail, the Cayenne has draft collars. For me, draft collars make all the difference in the world. I have two down under quilts, one from...
Is your UQ a full length? A 20 degree with 4oz over stuff from Adam should be super toasty. Have you had a second person check for gaps while you're lying in the hammock? I know I've thought mine...
I was able to do it once but am no longer able to, the little edit pencil has disappeared. I'd like to be able to mark my items "sold" in the original post so I don't wastes people's time scrolling...
Ridgerunner is sold, thanks Parrothead!
Ridgerunner is SPF to Parrothead123.
PM'd you my info.
Pad is SOLD..
PM sent.
I ordered the newest version of the Ghost Pepper so this one has to go. Used in Winter so no sweaty body inside, always store in its cotton storage sack in a smoke free home. Quilt is in excellent...
I ran two pieces in my dryer with heat four times, they didn't melt.
Check out Loco Libre Gear, George can make you whatever length you want. The Argon fabric is exceptional and you'll have your choice of a large variety of color options and three different types of...
Yep, have someone look at your ends as you're lying in the hammock. I can feel my head end for gaps but not my foot end. Even if you sit up to reach down to check your foot end, you change the...
Yeah I thought of that as well but so far, my body has stayed in the comfort zone down to 16 degrees. It's just my feet that give up. If the pocket was in the torso area, you probably wouldn't feel...
Many of you have seen my Ghost Pepper, The Beast, but I decided to upgrade and order a new Ghost Pepper with the updated "Hotbox" foot box design. I was born with icicles for feet and am not a happy...
Welcome Chip, I'm also just up the road. Sleepy Creek is nice but am not sure about back country camping, I'd guess no as they have semi-primitive sites and it's a wildlife management area.
I use the shock cord/mitten hook/cord stop method on my Superfly and it works well for the bottom but under heavy winds, the middle of my doors open up and let the cools in. I'm thinking heavily...
Truth right here, set up is EVERYTHING.
I'm 5'10", my Hammock Gear Incubator 20* is 78" but I ordered my Loco Libre Gear Habanero 0* at 80". If I go semi or full fetal I can get full coverage (over the top of my hear to beyond my feet)...
Thank you for all your contributions to this community. While I'm sad to see you guys go, I'm happy for your new futures. Life's an adventure and too short to do the same thing for too long. Best...
Agreed, outstanding craftsmanship and customer service.
My daghter and i are hangin in the back yard, beautiful tarpless night.
Where do you plan on going?

That price is for a 50" with no over fill. Pull the "size" button down to chose 70", build a quilt on the site to BigRed's specs and you'll be closer to what one is new. Not to mention a Multicam...
I forgot to post a few pics of Sleepy Creek. We had a great time, did a lot of sitting around, cooking, and eating.
...
I'm a right side sleeper in a bed but am a left lay (feet left) in a hammock. I don't want to face the "Wall of Hammock" so left lay it is and my face is freeeeeee.
I also have a Ridgerunner...
Nice, congrats on the new home.
Here's the best ridgeline video ever made, EVAR. Should help you quite a bit.

I'd go with a 20 degree, give yourself a 10 degree buffer.
Yes and the North end is pretty swampy in several places, your feet will get wet.
Yes Ed, that looks correct. While this may look confusing, it's really not that bad. I have an appt Friday afternoon so it looks like I'll be heading out to SC Saturday morning. This may be better...
Yes but I can't get a good view right now, maybe Ed can can point it out.
Ed Lee and I will be hangin' at Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area (Berkeley Springs, WV) March 26th weekend if anyone wants to join us. Depending on people's schedules, I may get there Friday. ...
Hmmm, was kinda looking forward to the new Justin Beiber documentary but this sounds good too.
Thanks Donna, sounds like a great idea!! We'll have to get a fire going early for all the Jiffy...
I believe Argon is ripstop whereas Membrane is not.
I'd like to try and make this one as well.
