Great pics. I'll echo the sentiment of loving to wake up at first light in my hammock.
You made the right call. Bad weather on the Bonds is no bueno. I had to make a similar one when I did the Pemi loop last summer. I ended up doing it in two days instead of three.
Very nice. I love the Pemi Wilderness
I just got back from thruhiking the Long Trail. I ordered a Warrior Edge on VERY short notice for the trip and James delivered the goods. I can't praise his customer service and product enough
I have to agree that this is a great product. I had been shoving my Cuben tarp in my back but now it is kept contained. I'll also be able to hang it on the outside of my pack when wet
I received mine earlier this week. I have had a chance to try them out but they seem to be well made
I just ordered a set for my LT thru hike. I can't wait to try them out
Just vent the 20 if you get too hot in the summer. I use a 3/4 JRB that's rated to ~25 in the summer
Very nice. I think I'm going to order one of these for my upcoming Long Trail thru-hike
Awesome idea. I love my Ghost Pepper as well
Very nice. I love my ghost pepper as well
I'm interested in a new backpacking hammock and will be getting it made in hexon. I still need to determine whether I want 1.0 or 1.6. I prefer the lightest option available but I don't want to...
Bump. Still available
I use my Luci light and really enjoy it. Lightweight, solar powered and bright
Great looking quilt and color combo. George makes a very fine quilt
It's PolyD
Looks great. I bought all the materials to make a winter tarp out of Xenon but haven't gotten around to it yet
I might need one of these. I'm going out this weekend and the winds Saturday night are supposed to be 50+mph.
How does this fabric compare to Hexon 1.0?
Buy what you really want the first time. It will cost you less money in the long run. Hammock Gear makes great stuff
Yes the ridge line was added after. I bought it from Dutch. You would need tree straps and whoopie slings to hang
I've had it around 7 months and have only hung it in my backyard a few times to lay out for a short time. I've probably put less than 5 hours of hang time in it.
It will come with continuous loops. I'm pretty sure they still make PolyD
Still available
Get the wide option that is available with almost all of the vendors. I believe that some vendors have clips on their quilts that allow you to run chord underneath your pad and arch to the other side...
I could be interested as well.
I was able to get my first hang of 2016 in on Sunday night. The lows were in the 20's but my Incubator 0 and Ghost Pepper 0 kept me toasty warm. I actually had to push the quilt down a little to...
Great looking underquilt OP. George makes top notch gear. I have a 0* Ghost Pepper and can't find a flaw. The large storage sack is great too, definitely a surprise. Congrats again
Perhaps if you are on the bubble height wise you might want to get the longer version, otherwise you would just be carrying around extra pack weight and paying more money
I appreciate the work that you and your wife put into the site. I am going to be fortunate to hike the LT this August and I will most certainly use your site as a planning resource
I have this for sale. It's not 11ft but it is very comfortable

Pretty sure it's PolyD based on the finish
Thanks for the tip. I'll have to check it out when I get home
I don't have a scale to weigh it unfortunately. I'm pretty sure it is either NylonD or PolyD but I don't know the fabric weight. It has continuous loops
$45 shipped/pp
One more time
To the top
I'm putting up my Hammeck Breezy for sale. Olive green, 10' single layer, continuous loops, adjustable ridgeline and stuff sack. I'm not sure of the fabric type but it's soft and light as a...
sold to Kanguru!
I have a Kammock Dragonly bug net that I've never used. It's in brand new condition, only taken out to inspect. I'm asking $50 shipped to the lower 48. Let me know if you have questions
You probably want to use a dehumidifier regardless of storing down in the basement if you have moisture issues. I'd echo the sealed storage bin idea if you put your quilts down there. I might need...
It really comes down to weight and color choice. They both make fantastic products. I know the MW4 was on sale, not sure if it still is
Awesome looking quilt set. Are they 20*? 3/4 length UQ?
Thanks everyone. I had hoped to use it this past weekend on an overnight hike. I ended up hiking out because the conditions/I was too wet and without an ability to get a good fire going, and I...
Great looking quilt. I'm going to use my GP this weekend and can't wait
Very nice. George makes some great quilts
I'm incredibly happy with how it turned out and can't wait to use it.
I let my wife use the quilt last night...now she's talking about getting one lol
Thanks!! Woodland camo outer and burnt orange inner. I was thinks about a burnt orange/coyote brown combo or a camo/brown combo but I'm very happy with my choice. You should definitely order one:)
Ideas in the market for a 0* TQ to extend my backpacking season in the Whites. I was between a Burrow 0 or a Ghost Pepper and really liked the baffle design that George does. I have no doubt that I...
