Sorry, I got the pic from the interwebs, like I said it's only been out of the sock once. Will edit the pic.
Sounds and would look good but I would just use a stick from the ground.

Sweet video. I have not been to Maroon Bells since I was a kid. That entire section of the state is the nicest part IMO.
Thanks for the views, how many total miles was your section?
Wow that looks beautiful. Thanks for the pics and the effort that went into this post. I loooove trip reports with pics.
Sounds fun and good tip on the trail. Looking forward to pics.
Well I will def be checking out the Linnville Gorge someday. HIIIIIIICKORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me too, those things are huge and can't go wrong with Kelty durability and sure beats the harbor freight ghetto tarp for a vehicle kit tarp.
The next level up personalization. Looks great although the scales kind creep me out. lol :scared:
Let me just say that I am incredibly jealous every time I see a canoe and up there where the lakes are so plentiful, I can't imagine!
That came out great and not ''novice'' at all.
Gracious, thanks for sale. I've been eyeing the shadow XL for awhile.
Timely post, thanks for that. I was trying to figure this one out on my own just a little bit ago.
What up shipmate? Thanks for the write up and pics!
Just curious, how much use did the Blackbird have?
Great idea if you can forget about the feel. Silence is not underrated when it come to getting quality REM.
100% get the 11 footer otherwise you'll probably end up buying twice.
Greetings to you also. For staying cool, I go north or up in elevation. lol I think there are many, many people hammock camping in their backyard's.
Wow thanks for the write up and pics!
I've had good luck with silnylon tent repair tape and in more MacGuyer situations a little Gorilla tape can do a lot.
I hate deleted comments, here or anyhwere else. Censorship is lame and if someone wants to whatever then it's on them but I'm not ok with pretending certain points of view don't exist.
I will PM you about a WBB XLC.
Welcome. It's only 9/2 are you sure it's safe to go outside in Phoenix without melting yet?
My grandad was struck by lightning but survived. In my mind I wonder, does this raist, lower or not change the odds of it happening to me?
For long-term happiness I think you should get the long.
can we see a pic?
DIY Scout project? Hennesey Scout hammock otherwise.
October in the eastern woods? I am 1000% jealous.
''Thanks. Trying to make it as affordable as I can for everyone.''
That philosophy is downright revolutionary.
That ''camo'' is darn cool and unique.
20 is the most versatile temp overall but if you are in a below freezing environment that would no longer be true.
Everyone says the same. Dutch is cottage OG, lol.
Thumbs up on the true/funny!
Big interwebs high-five! Making the world a little better one cool invention at a time, good work man.
That is sweet but I'm going to upgrade the tie-dye to a 9.1. Very cool.
I agree 1000% and not just in outdoor gear for that principle. Well placed simplicity alleviates problems fo sho.
Howdy right back from the other side of the country, nice scooter. Do you travel and hang with it?
That came out excellent, like a pro made product. You're going have a signup sheet for orders on those beauties!
Read, photography, eat again, games on a smart phone, listen to music, hackysack, solve world problems.
Me too, like the very big, purple, zippered one from GG that I bought years ago. The ones that came in the round plastic containers.
What does it weigh?
That snow pattern is now on the with list. All because I clicked on this thread!
Whoa now! Thank you for that. Never heard of those before!
Hennessy Hex probably but you can't go wrong with Kelty products.
LOL
Nice improv but how do you camp in the south with the heat and humidity?
