Wow! Looks like you guys had a great trip, despite the ground dweller... JK. And great pictures too, the one with the cloud reflections in particular. Oh, and a nod to the scotch drinkers......

Right on!
Another nod for Lawson... hands down, some of the best cordage out there.
I'll take it
I use SLD's Catch All & can easily store my quilts & the hammock stuffed into my backpack. Since everything's already integrated, it's quickly deployed without too much fuss once in camp.
No...
Yeah, the 890R looks like a pretty sweet ride. How did you like the soft luggage versus hard cases? I have a Mosko tank bag for my 1150GS but haven't pulled the trigger on the rest of the ensemble.
Wow... pretty cool & what an experience. One of these days...
Everybody riding KTM's?
Check out Hilltop Packs... they do all kinds of printed & custom printed stuff sacks, ditty bags, dry bags, ground sheets, etc. I just got a small, custom printed bear bag with my dog's image on it....
What a beautiful country & an awesome trail report & pics.
I got a laugh about your expired meal comment... been there, done that.
Thanks for posting.
+1 with the exception of a top case... not a big top case fan. Rather than a top case, I prefer a waterproof duffle bag that is secured to the bike & rests on top of the pillion seat & side cases....
LOL... words of wisdom!
Looks kinda sketchy to me... this place legit? Everything listed on this website is heavily discounted & is not associated with Eno, as best as I can tell.
A Hilleberg 4 season tent for less than...
+1
Apart from hammock insulation, you've got base & mid layers, jacket, insulated pants, beanie, etc., that can extend your temp range a little bit more. I carry a synth pullover & pant set that...
Another good video Dirtbag... pretty cool spot to camp & I'll bet it's a popular one too! And it's cool too that the kids got out on the trail with you. I'm sure they had a great time.
I'm...
You can always put a rubber band to cinch up the suspension so it doesn't get tangled up or somehow wrapped around the quilt.
I'm up in N. TX & while it's not just around the corner from you, there is some great backpacking up in Arkansas... Eagle Rock Loop & the Ozark Highland Trail are two good ones. Search the Trip...
It might be worth a try to wash your quilt to help rejuvenate the loft. Nikwax make a gentle wash solution specifically for washing down. Front load washing machine only & tumble dry on very low...
Another good adventure video braving the elements.Despite all the snow, it looks like you guys had a fun trip.
Thanks for posting Dirtbag!
I did a DIY project with Dutch's Cloakware to give you an idea how it looks.
Looks like a nice trip.
My dad, brothers & I did quite a few trips in the Cohutta, hiking along the Jacks River back in the 70s.
Thanks for posting!
What's the weight on the Mt. Washington 3?
Once again, WOW! That's some awesome eye candy and outstanding photos. So appreciated. Some of those photos don't even look real, like they're out of a fairy tale.
Thanks for posting.
In lower temps, I keep my phone in the breast pocket of my synth pullover & my water filter in a Ziploc outside the top quilt in the hammock with me.
Cool... I do some camping off the bike now & again. Always a good time.
Wow! Great photos documenting your trip. Fall colors are hard to beat & on such a grand scale makes it even more dramatic.
Thanks for posting.
Beautiful photos & looks like a fun hike.
My youngest daughter & I used to watch Totoro when she was very little... what great memories. It appears as though people have planted flowers & left...
I'll take it... AHE down booties
Another good video Dirtbag!
Pretty dramatic colors up there in Harriman & looks like a fun trip. I love this time of year in the woods.
For me, it would be hard to justify the price if the competition's products are of equal/better quality, features and if pricing is lower. Obviously, there are a lot of variables in manufacturing...
Love all the colors... this tlme of year really is the best time to be out in the woods.
Dang! Whenever you post something, I know it's gonna be good.
Such great photos & fog does put a kind of a dreamy, magical feeling on things when you're in the woods.
Thanks for posting!
Your trip looks like a really good time. I think it would be fun to fish for dinner. A few years ago, I bought a couple of Tenkara rods & flies to take on the trail but never got serious about it....
WOW... beautiful & stunning pics per the usual!! Also looks like a fun time in the woods.
What's the weight of the Burrow?
I remember that!
What a great accomplishment Dirtbag! You're quite the glutton for punishment racking up such big time mileage in 7 days... I'm good for about 12-14 mile days, so my hat's off to you. After all that,...
Great report & pics! Looks like some good buddy time too. The Solo looked like it came in handy & is a great thing to have for paddling. I can see it working too for motorcycling, where you're not...
I've thought about something like that too from time to time & think that's a great idea. Not only for day hikes & overnighters, but for longer, multi-day trips too if people were so inclined
Another fun video Dirtbag. Looks like a fun trip & a cool spot you picked out for the night.
After a bunch of years tarp camping, I can't believe I never tried the bivy! I may have to give it a...
Been using SLD Catch All's for quite some time now to stow the hammock, TQ & UQ & they do work well, even the winter size version. I just take one end of the Catch All & start jamming it my pack all...
I'll take it - Dutch half zipped hammock
Is the hammock symmetrical or asymmetrical?
I dunked my hammock just for better overall coverage. Air dried it in the backyard over a couple of days/nights & was good to go. The smell lingers for a little while, but I didn't find it...
Good luck on your AT journey & at Auburn too!
Enjoyable video.
Many moons ago I discovered a campground behind a little country store just down the mountain from the Queen Wilhelmena Lodge on one of my first motorcycle trips. The Lodge...
If the deal falls through with Freek, "I'll take it" as 2nd dibs.

Good luck on the trail... I may have to look little closer at adding the Trekking Treez to my kit for my motorcycle adventures.
Another good snow video... nice.
LOL... you did your research huh? Print2Fabric is a custom printed tarp option, not a solid color tarp.
Sorry to inconvenience you.
