Looking to purchase one of these if someone has one they are no longer using.
Glad they are working for you! I just spent a week in the Boundary Waters with them on. They stayed tight and worked perfectly. I just store them in the pocket of my Ridgerunner saddle bag.

Warbonnet got back to me right away. I was putting the poles in the dyneema tabs and not the dogbone. Works much better now!

From the looks of the picture are the spreader bars not in the loop...
How do you attach the lynx with the new style rigerunner and the the spindrift? Do the carabiners go through the spindrift suspension holes and attach to the loop above where the poles go? Really...

I'll take the Rising Wolf.
Let us know what you think. I know it is one more thing to keep track of, but it is better than putting a hole in your tarp.
I don't know if this is exactly what your asking, but I did finally figure out how to have great distance once set up. My problem with hitting the tarp with the poles is in setting up the tarp....
They fit tight but have not put them through a year yet. For $2.87 if I have to replace that is fine with me. No matter how careful I was, I still ended up hitting the tarp, since installing these I...
Took to long to set up, but was a success!
These fit perfectly on the ends of the Ridgerunner bars.

Heading out at 4 to try your suggestions. I purchased the tarp used so I did hang that in my basement when I got home and it does indeed measure 13 feet from D ring to D ring. I will hang the hammock...
The Bridge hammock does have 25 degree as opposed to the traditional 45 degree angle, which I suppose lengthens the suspension. I played with raising the hammock, but then the bridge poles are...
Warbonnet Ridgerunner.
Winter Haven 13 foot with doors/poles/ set up for Ridgerunner.
Tried for two hours to set it up where the doors would close, but cannot get the suspension to fit inside. ...

I'll take it.
Cool, thank you everyone for your help.
Thanks for the pics and explanation. I will have to play with it a bit.
Now this isn't a tarp with two doors, but you can see how he closed the door and stakes down one side before installing poles. Looks like the way to do it.

Winter Haven 13 foot. I tried it with all 3 poles, maybe that was my problem.
Set up my winter haven today. Staked down and installed 3 interior poles. Had to keep bringing the sides in so the doors would shut. Does everyone button the doors before staking so you know they...
Weird,
Now it works for me. Didn't work for 2 hours. Thanks for checking!

[QUOTEIf you just ordered the spindrift, you might still have time to ask for the second zipper.[/QUOTE]
I think the new ones all come with two doors now.

Ordering one in Gold today. Did not know you could keep it on the hammock, that will be nice not to monkey with taking in on and off.
It is not in my possession yet, but I believe it is 134 inches wide.

Sounds good. Thank you.

I am tracking with you on the 13' part, but it doesn't have to be a Superfly right? As long as it is a 13' tarp with doors and poles it should work right? Reason I ask is Superfly isn't in stock wear...
[QUOTE Just be careful not to completely close it up against the ground. I made that mistake once and one time only. Without any air flow it will be a condensation bomb one hour after going to sleep!...
I own a 11 Superfly that I have used with my Blackbird XLC on a few October BWCA trips. I never could set it up so that the cold 25 mph+ winds didn't come in like a tent can prevent. I have switched...
looking for a 4 season tarp that will fit the Ridgerunner.

I'll take it. Let me know PayPal info.
If it is the new style without the tabs I will take it.
Red fox screaming is what keeps me up every night.

Underquilt all the way. I love that you can use a 3/4 length UQ in warmer temps by pulling it up to allow air to flow. I've only slept down to 40 degrees F in my hammock, but with the underquilt I...
Looking for a 3 season top quilt. I'm 5' 11".
I found it to be a great advantage by the end of the trip. There is generally one decent site for a tent then the rest is sloped, rocky, etc.
I should invest in some snake skins for the tarp, it takes me twice as long to set it up as the hammock and it would be nice to have it in place without actually using it like you guys stated. It was...
Entry point 14 to 16 in Ely. After listening to the snoring I totally agree with the distance.
First night I found what looked like a decent spot about 25 yards from the tents in my group. Have to admit I was fairly nervous. Felt very vulnerable hanging in the woods myself. Second night I hung...
Beautiful pictures, would love to hike Glacier sometime.
I can hear the crickets for about 1 minute between each Boeing 767 flying overhead.
I purchased nearly the same set up you did this summer. I will let the experts chime in on the questions you posed, but I will answer one you did not ask. Don't forget to seam seal the panel pulls on...
