I'm sure this is a typo and you meant $150 right? It would be a hell of a deal for $50!

I used a paper clip and it worked great for zing it and amsteel.
I had good luck with throwing my down jacket in between my uq whenever I felt a cold spot. Seems to fill in any gaps that have formed and I don't have to get out in the middle of the night to mess...

It would block wind but I don't think it will add any warmth.
Sorry but I would like to sell as a set.

Sounds just like me. I get in my hammock after hiking and knock out in seconds only to wake up 2 hrs later in a daze thinking I've slept for like 5-6 hours. Get out of hammock, go to the bathroom,...
Weekly bump.
You probably didn't have the quilt right up against your back. It needs to tight against the hammock or you will get cold spots.
Just layer up and use whatever sleeping bag and or blankets you might have. It should be plenty warm by the time April rolls by. Temps will probably be in the 60s some nights. If you must, you can go...
I usually add 10F to bags because big manufacturers typically rate their bags down to survival and not comfort like the cottage vendors. So in my mind, your bag is a 25F bag. You might not actually...
Weekly bump.
Price drop. $110 shipped.
Both quilts should take you down to 50. The underquilt can go down to 45 easy but the limiting factor in this set is the top quilt.
The top quilt is 388g/13.68oz/0.86lbs.
The underquilt is 476g/16.79oz/1.05lbs.
At the moment, I won't be separating them.

There is omni tape at the ends and a bit on the sides to secure them together. Last two are the uq connected together.
You can use the larger piece by itself. There are 4 tie out on each corner and both ends do cinch up. You can use this UQ as a 5/8 or the full size. If you need more picture, I can take them for you...
Just following up on what dakotaross said, the pieces are connected via omni-tape. Both can be hung separate from each other though I don't think the the attachment can be tighten on one side.
I brought it 1.5 years ago. Used it on a handful of trips last year but havent used it at all this year.
Price drop. $200 for the JRB.
Payment received. Will have it shipped out soon.

I have a pair of KOLA that I have larksheaded to a CL on my hammock and I use amsteel connected to tree straps to hang it up. So far it hasn't failed me and easy to set up/take down. Another plus it...

Close up of the edge that ripped. Looks like I used 9spi.
I also have sewn channels for my ends, no whipping.
I can't remember for certain but I think I sewed the side channels at the lowest setting which is 6 for my machine.
This red one was 1.2 oz and I have another blue that is 1.4 oz. I've never notice any damage to them. They were relatively new and I'm usually good about keeping them on the ground when hanging them...
It's a DIY. I don't think you have to be worry. It's probably a freaked accident or my fault somehow. I want to say it ripped at the edge then went in. I was rolling out and probably put to much...
Just snapped some quick ones. Sorry for the horrible lightning but its raining outside. It's ripped directly in the middle and stopped about 3/4 to other side.

Just came back from an overnighter quite sad. My polyd hammock ripped in half during the night as I was rolling out to relieve myself. Now I'm not that heavy at 190 lbs and hung in it less than 20...
I made two out of polyd and while they are comfortable, I liked my cheap nylon hammock from walmart better. My next hammock will probably be made of something streticher. It's all personal preference...
Spiced rum and some real food. Nothing better than a steak.
Also look into hammock socks. I read a lot of good things about them.
Been using your method for a while now and I like how simple it is. I do have a question though. Have you ever tried to wrap it up in windy/stormy condition? The tarps wants to unravel and becomes...
There is a big thread on no hardware suspension. You can do the becket hitch but with amsteel, it will slip. The crooks bend has worked for me pretty well. No slips with 7/64 amsteel yet. There is...
No problem at all. Just make sure it drys out if its wet before storing.
