After dealing with these quite a bit on my hot tent, I would not be afraid to make my own for a tarp as long as I knew how long they should be. Very easy to cut and make yourself.

December 22 shown in that image was the first update since the 14th, so I kind of gave up. But it's insured so I'm not too worried.
