Fisherman's Island in Charlevoix (site #28 is nice and the first lake side one just past the ranger station - walk in site), and like Donk said, Lake Superior State Forest Campground in Da UP.

Green Timbers 5mi East of Vanderbilt (I-75) on the Sturgeon river. 2 mile hike into the bridge and probably nobody there. The pidgeon river is just a bit further up the road.

Maybe a "space bag" or some sort of inflatable swim toy.
