I'm back in the game. I'm still a HAM-AHOLIC! Anyone have some good plans/patterns for making an Asym hammock?
Very nice work. I cannot wait for mine to arrive.
Welcome to the ADDICTION!
Repeat after me:
I mk2rocco am a hammock addict.
I sent an email and changed the materials from 1.9oz to 1.6oz HyperD based on your thoughts. The hammock looses 25lbs of strength, but I'm only 140lbs so it won't be an issue. If I like it I will...
I was under the impression they could be deployed at the same time. It sounds quite interesting the way you explain it. Thanks for the vids.
I get it. I'm just to excited and impatient. LOL
Ok, I decided to go with a single layer 1.9oz ripstop Dangerbird. The over-cover is 1.1oz. Should be here in about 2 months. Hopefully they can speed things up, that seems a bit excessive.
...
I'm confused on the description of the dangerbird. Can the overcover be taken down with the bugnet still in place? It looks like the over-cover is on the inside of the bugnet, is this correct? I...
I grew up in Western NY (snow belt). If you want snow and cold that is the place to go in the winter. LOL
Too cold to hang outdoors??? I cannot comprehend that comment. LOL
Yes, I like the minute levels of customization as well.
Well, I expect I have more hang time than most people in this group so experience isn't the angle here. I've slept in hammocks for years straight, not just months straight.
I've never had an...
I know this has been asked a 1000 times, but I'm looking for opinions from people who have used both.
Currently I have a Claytor made of taffeta; it is super comfortable and soft.
Ripstop...
Nice Vid! Thanks.
Anybody use a WBBB with a JRB UQ? I curious how the foot-box works with the UQ. It seems to me that it would just knock it off. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Nice!!! Do you own, or have you ever tried a WB Blackbird?
LOL.... Unfortunately for you it still works with my Expedition. LOL
yes, thank you.
Can anyone comment on the use of a JRB UQ with a dream hammock t-bird? I'm wondering if they will stay in place with the lines tied out on the side of the hammock. My UQ does have a loop for the...
The dreamhammock t-bird looks sweet!!!! I'm comparing it to the blackbird. Unfortunately warbonnet takes 2 weeks. I'm leaning more towards the t-bird as a result. Any comments on the T-bird?
Will the MacCat standard tarp have enough coverage to keep the ends of a warbonnet blackbird out of the rain? It seems like it will have enough coverage, but I'd rather have someone who has...
Do any of these options have a structural ridge-line?
Got it. I prepare it tonight.
Hey folks.
I'm looking for recommendations for a new hammock. I've owned and used many hammocks over the years, but am looking to get others opinions. In the past I've owned an HH Ultralite. I...
Yes, I'll send you my paypal id in a PM.

Sorry, I was out on vacation and didn't have access to my computer. I'll post some pics and take a look at your PM.
I have an lightly used Clark Jungle Hammock for sale. Its certainly been used less than a dozen times, and most of those were in the back yard. Its the original without the poles. The tarp will...
Haha, we were in Shenandoah National Park hiking Jones Mountain. She was in front of me hiking slightly up hill. Then out of nowhere she sees something flying at her out of the corner of her eye. ...
Wow, I go away for a couple years and when I come back its a whole new world in here. Hello to all my friends in hammock land.
My wife and I had a great trip backpacking this weekend. Of...
My wife and I may be there. I'll know for sure when the time gets closer.
Yes, he really looks forward to the hammock trips twice per year. He is a good kid with the expected difficulties. LOL

How funny is that. I recently purchased a Vargo wood stove so I decided to to watch a review video of the stove. Guess who's was the first video on UTube??? That's right, MacEntyre, and...
What FL hang? I would love to go to FL in Jan for a hang. :)
Hmmm, do I bring the Clark or the Claytor to the MAHHA this weekend? Decisions, decisions, decisions....
1 veggie burger please.... :)
Not yet, I'm backing now. LOL
Lets not forget about the vegetarians and vegans. LOL
Count us in for 3. 2 for the picnic. See everyone late Friday......
Should post this in the forum calendar so people don't have to search for the thread to find it.
lol, good thing because it's already gone. Didn't even have a chance to finish reading all the PM's about it yet. LOL

I found another Claytor Jungle Hammock in my pile of stuff. I don't think it's ever been used.
It sounds like you will need me to stand guard with my blowgun next time. LOL
Kiwi and I had a great time. It was wonderful seeing everyone again!
Mark two for breakfast and for the picnic in my party. The picnic is on Sat, right?
Please save some trees for us. LOL I'm going to try my best to be there Friday night, but we might not make it until Sat morning.
I sleep in a hammock full time. I use a cotton Brazilian style hammock. Mayan style are very nice as well. I have one similar to this: http://www.seasidehammocks.com/NATURALE-p183.html

I have them in two different color greens, and a blue one.
