I go out most Fridays year round. Using lash it :)
I’ve had mine a few months and noticed them tearing up the line. Going to switch out to hardware free.
Very nice, i see some of your design features have been borrowed elsewhere ;)
I'm probably odd in that I have my uq on the outside, i.e. I tuck in the net. Still easy enough to get out.
The Sparrow has to be the best available out there, certainly on my list of must haves. So who's borrowing who's design features ;)
mmmm nice, few features there look familiar though :)
Loving the mule tape and Beckett hitch here too. Used it all summer. My go to summer rig now :)
I don't do much colder weather stuff now but when I do I use a pair of grizz beaks with the hex, works fine.
I want one, orange or blue mmmm can't decide, help:)
Looks normal, you should see mine, and I'm a fat bloke lol
Same here, love my dutch goodies here in the UK, nothing over here :( Loving me burnt orange gear now, green so boring lol
The orange is really good I like it. I started of with boring greens, browns and Camo, got shot of the lot and it's burnt orange, purple, lime green and Vader blue for me all the way :)

I have a DD uq and an XLC. Soon realised the -5 that DD say is way out and just will not fit on a XLC correctly without pissing around. Upgraded to Zepplins :) no complaints now :)

Same here, stored with the hammock, dont see the point of removing it each time.
Same here, get rid of the MPH, whoopie hooks rock. Either larks head your loop to your hugger or get some BIAS Strap anchors and attached the loop to them, that also gives you options when faced with...
I have an Incubator and a Zepplin, both brilliant, you can't go wrong. If you twisted my arm to choose then it would be the Zepplin :)

On my diy hammocks i have a bunched end warbonnet style, once weighted the cont loop will not move unless you want it off. Whoopie hooks are great, had them a year, I weigh 225lbs, no problems.
I use red and orange when using whoopies. Its funny this, when i started out i was all about the blending in with greens and camo etc, got rid of that gear and gone the other way. Went to a camp the...
Place an order last Thursday afternoon and it arrived this morning here in the UK, straight to me with no custom charges too ;)
Outstanding service :)

You could use it on both or if you prefer a permanent fixing use the albright knot :)
I'd use the Beckett hitch :)
I too stuck to that type of budget at the start and was stuck with dd or snugpak. Both never cut it, you seek something that is not available.
Albright knot.
Been using it last few weeks tied straight to cont loop, no issues, I'm 250lbs.
I'm thinking of getting a Dream hammock, I blame you guys, I don't need one as I already have an XLC, woodsman x and 3 Dutch hammocks - I just want one lol :) but which one. What do ya reckon folks ;)
Been using the j bend at the head end with my mule tape and beckett hitch foot end, noticed less compression of the cont loop using the j bend. Still loving the mule tape, still not had rain while...
I've tried a few since I started. My first hammock was a dd and I had the stock webbing. Since getting rid of the dd to more comfy hammocks I've tried, cinch bugs, whoopies with whoopie hook, bias...
For you chaps using the Jbend often, have you noticed less wear/compression at the cont loop. Used the Beckett hitch with mule tape to cont loop the last 4 days and noticed major compression of the...

I use these little fellas, awesome.
I tucked it in and left the opening pulled around so its just a quick feel with my left hand to locate it.
Another thumbs up here for the mule tape. Keeping it simple at the moment :)
Tried it last night with an uqp on the outside so I could leave loose and tuck it in, worked at a treat.
Pappyamos - does it make it tricky getting out if you tuck it in uqp.
Do you guys reckon the j bend is stronger than the beckett hitch.
Best wishes from over here in the UK matey - get well soon.
I've been playing with this idea too today. Rigged up the set up as Jaxx, really worked well. Also knocked up another version for my mule tape. I have my mule tape straps straight to cont loop ( drip...
I have been using 14" of mule tape wrapped around tree 3 or 4 times and straight to cont loop. I had a few nights in rain but all seemed well as i larks headed a drip line on. I have not had serious...
I have a drip line regardless of what im using, no problems so far. Recently been playing with different things (you know what its like lol) and was using mule tape tied straight to cont loop which...
I like things simple so i have a couple of split rings attached to the ridgeline points that i use to attach some stingers. The other tie outs have tarp worms with shock cord attached larks headed to...
I took delivery of 1.6w this week, gotta say its brilliant, mega comfy. I normally go between my xlc or woodsman x but decided to get get one one these along with a fronkey bugnet and wish id got one...
Interesting :) what do you use as a water break ( if anything )
I went out last night on a solo and used the Beckett hitch with the mule tape for the first time on an overnighter. Got to say I love how simple it is :) not sure I'd use it if rain was expected...
I use an 8" bury on mine as per tutorial. 3" on loops, no problems, I'm 250lbs.
Been tinkering last couple of days. Was interested in trying some mule tape tied to cont loop on hammock with Beckett hitch. I had some tree straps spare so attached mule tape with an Albright knot,...
So what's everyone's favourite suspensions. I've been sticking with Dutchs Kevlar straps and bias strap anchors for last few months, really pleased with them :)
Hi folks
I already have a couple of hammocks with integrated bug nets, just wondered if anyone uses them but also has a netless hammock and a fronkey style bug net.
I have thought about doing...
Im currently using Kevlar straps with BIAS Strap Anchors, simple, light and no slip issues (im 250ibs).
Thank you :)
Blast, out of stock :(
Do you have a link for the stuff your getting Sunndog, I fancy giving this a go with my hammock anchors :)
Hi folks
I got myself a UGQ 10 degree quilt towards the end of last season to replace my DD which was great all through winter here in the UK. Would it be wise to get a 20 or maybe a 30 now we...
