This was my solution. I added zippers between the holes the suspension comes out of. allows me to use it as a...
Do you offer a 4s version of the ridge creek xl?

For anyone doing this I suggest u leave a fairly long overhang on ur zippers. It makes it easier to get the zipper started. Learned this by accident

Btw, if Warbonnet ever offers this as a factory option I will be the first person to buy one .
So I love my spindrift but I was not crazy about how it installed. Like others , I felt if it had zippers/Velcro on each end it would be way more versatile. After an unsuccessful attempt to get my...
Hi guys. I upgraded my rainfly on my deep jungle xl to the larger hex fly a while back. I sold my stock catenary cut fly and now I regret it. I'm looking for a stock fly that will fit an explorer...
I haven't looked into it yet, but I agree that would be a nice option.
sold pending funds.
Price drop to $100 shipped in the us.
If you want to spend a little more, check this out. I have the Hennessy radiant pad and it is a perfect fit in my RR. Also is light and insulates well. ...
I have a brand new, never used Super Shelter for sale. It was for my side zip deep jungle. I replaced it with an underquilt so I no longer need it. I paid 149.00 for it. Will sell it shipped...
lol. yeah, so far they have been holding for about a year now. I just screwed some big eyebolts into the stud in the wall. You can see I don't totally trust them though.

Testing the new RR in the garage.
I have a hennessy deep jungle and a RR. The RR is my favorite by far. It is simple to set up. Don't let people scare you off on the weight. Withouth putting it on a scale, I can't tell any...
I've got the skins on my hennessy and the bishop bag on my warbonnet. I actually prefer the bishop bag. The skins just dont pack as small.
The Clarks look pretty cool, especially that two man version. I don't know anybody near me that has a Clark or I'd love to try one.
beautiful.
Great choice. You will be happy with that setup.

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to some pics from over there.
I drilled a pilot hole and screwed two large eyebolts from home depot into the walls of my shop (into stud). Been hanging in it a year and havent had any issues. That being said... I always put a...
Someday I figure I will end up with an xlc also. This hammock thing is very addictive...
I use a separate ridgeline with my hex tarp but i still like the compactness of hooking the original small tarp to the stock suspension.
Well. I now have a supershelter that is for sale if that tells you anything...
Tried it with the reflectix that came with my hennessy and I love how easy it was to install. The reflectix pad is almost a perfect fit in the Ridge Runner.
Ok, you win for the best long term test of a hammock I think. I have a deep jungle as well. Love it.
Good point. I agree that you would have to almost try to tip it over once you are laying down. I wish someone would have steered me toward this hammock as my first one. But... then I guess I...
welcome aboard. Just got my first Warbonnet and I love it so far.
Sorry for the late reply. I have the deep jungle. I am 6ft, 200lbs. I used it over the weekend for Wood Badge and I LOVE it. It got down to 30-32 degrees both nights. I slept with just it, a 20...

ok, I test hung the ridge runner in my garage. I have been in a Hennessy Deep Jungle until now so I wanted to try a bridge style.
Here are my overall impressions:

So far I'm very impressed with the construction on the Ridge Runner. I will try it out this weekend. Now I just need to get a tarp for it. Which one do you guys recommend?
Ordered a Ridge Runner on Thursday and it is supposed to be delivered today! That is great customer service. Thank you Warbonnet. Looking forward to giving it a try. Been in a Hennessy Deep...
Received the UQ today. It looks FANTASTIC. I can't wait to give it a try. It appears to have a lot more loft than I expected. I'll give you guys a report when I try it out.
I'll take the jetboil frying pan. pm sent
Ok guys. I have a newbie question. I have been reading on here for a while that people struggle with moisture when using sleeping pads in hammocks, even when in between layers of the hammock. It...
I would have sworn that I saw a video once where they said it was to hold the netting back if you want to go topless. They just pulled it up over the net and hooked it to the side tieout on that...
Welcome from Ga. Can't wait to see some pics from the jungles down there.
Will do on the review. It hasn't arrived yet so I'm anxiously awaiting
