I'll take the Jarbridge.
WTF happened to the 50 Post Minimum before posting in "For Sale"?
I'll take the boots.
I'll bite. What's TATO cash?
Do you use a sleeping bag with a pocket for your pad? I've tried a pad in my hammock and it didn't work at all for me.
Payment sent for #s 4 and 5.
I'll take #4 and #5. Please send pmnt info.
If "C", above, is the same item described originally in #4, I will take both it and #5.
I'll take the sleeping bag.
I'll take it. fleece vest
Thanks Two Cents. You're making me feel like maybe I don't need to replace the asym tarp that came with my Hennssey. I was this close to getting a superfly, but I think I'll spend my $ on insulation...
Thanks, Rob - for the pointer as well as the welcome!
What are CRLs?
Great Resource on all things knot.

Are UQs really universal? Isn't the asymmetry of some hammocks a feature that limits your UQ options?
OK. Why do their have to be SO MANY choices for rigging a suspension. I am going to have to devote about a month just to figuring out what all of you are talking about. I can't visualize most of the...
Thanks for the tutorials, Shug. I've got 'em saved!
What'll it sell for?
Just listened to episode 0. Looking forward to your interview with Shug. Congratulations!
Have you used tyvek before? How does it wear compared to silnylon?
I am 60, and slept in a hammock for the first time last spring. For me there is NO comparison between hammocks and tents comfort-wise. I hope to never sleep in a tent again.
That is the ultimate hang!
Hey Scouter Ken, I've been considering the Superfly. How much cord should I carry to be able to hang that tarp properly, including the side tie-outs? A what kind of cord is best?
+1 on Topless. (Hangers from the Boston area will think they're hearing "Tarp-less".)
+1 on the bug net point. If I don't use my side tie-outs, my sleep movements can leave me in contact with the netting, exposing me to bug bites.
I like it! Thanks for sharing. Now, this seems like a good place to post a question about tarps that I've been wanting to ask. When using a tarp with side tie-outs, how many and what lengths of cord...
I like Spitball's method. I think you could use that to set up, make a couple adjustments, and have a perfect hang faster than by using the calculator. Trust your eyes, judgement, and experience!
I am grateful to all who have offered their advice. My objective is an AT thru-hike, and Grumpy's point about packing the HHSS pad is a big deal to me. Definitely leaning Potomac. It's not a lot more...
Thanks so much for the input. I certainly like the price over an UQ that would get me to the same temp.
Looking for advice about which UQ to buy for a Hennessey Hyperlite Asym Zip. Or does someone want to argue in favor of the Supershelter? How critical is it to get something specifically designed to...
I am 110% with you SlowBro! I replaced my stock Hennessey suspension with DIY whoopie slings, and could not be happier. Quick and simple set-up, easy centering, complete holding security, and super...
Thanks for sharing. I appreciate all the work that went into this, as well as your generosity!
No rush. I hadn't even decided for sure to sell it. But if you decide you can use it, Let me know. Good luck!
I took a zipline tour in Puerto Vallarta that included lines as long as a quarter mile and 200 meters up crossing a river valley. That was great, but I don't know if I could handle this. Thanks for...
I have a Hennessey Hyperlite Asym Zip with the stock tarp, which is a parallelogram, 63" x 99", with a (diagonal) ridgeline length of 132". It weighs 8 oz. Mine is like new. I am replacing it with a...
Just getting started and you own 4 hammocks? Keep me in mind when you're looking to get rid of some stuff.
Great question... I'm going to subscribe to this thread. I'm just starting out, and I can't afford to buy multiples of everything. I've been having the same thoughts and questions about tarp color.
"Even used the HH SuperShelter when weight was an issue. That went into the upper 20s easy with space blankets and some strategically placed clothes and probably could go lower. I still have it and...
I'm planning an AT thru-hike, and looking for good info. on where I'll have to be prepared to not be allowed to hang. So will the whole state of Va. be pretty much a no-hang zone?
OK, I get it. That diamond tarp I got with my Hennessey is pretty near worthless, at least in comparison to a Warbonnet SF.
I just looked at their site last night after seeing them mentioned in another post. Did you consider the chevron baffles? How did you arrive at your selection?
I've been wondering how much extra cord to carry for just this purpose. So about how much would you say makes sense?
Nice job, both on the graphics and the application!
I'm using the diamond tarp that came with my Hennessey. These pics make me drool.
Sorry... I have a lot to learn. Are you saying there are systems for attaching a pad to a TQ so that an UQ isn't needed?
Good recommendation w/ LocoLibre. I like the chevron baffle design. I just can't get used to what these things cost, though.
Thanks TallPaul. I'm subscribing to this thread. (Just figured out how to do that recently!) I feel like you used to... wish I had more to offer. Hopefully that'll come. By the way, I love Charlotte!...
Thanks for taking the time to share. I had not previously seen such a detailed description of the approach trail. Sheesh!
Thanks for the info. and videos. Do whoopie slings effectively divert water and prevent it from invading your sleep space? I've seen that claim.
This makes me annoyed that the diamond tarp is the standard that you get when you buy a new hammock. If they don't work well, why can't they be scrapped in favor of hex as the standard? Seems kinda...
