Huggers have loops on both ends, straps have a loop on one end. Straps are meant to be used with his cinch buckle system.
I have a Jarbidge 3 season that I used all last year. It performed well, I would highly recommend it. IMO, It is a quality piece of gear that is priced reasonably.
