I have hiked section #10. It starts in Orange county/pleasant green access and ends in Wake county/ Falls Lake dam. It's around 76/77 miles. I hiked it in sections and enjoyed it very much.

Try Shinleaf (falls lake). It won't be crowded like the other campgrounds...Eno River state park.....backpacking sites one mile in....Mountain to Sea trail goes through both.....
