I am making my first trip to the northwest to hike and hang In Gifford Pinchot. I am looking at the boundary trail to Mount Margaret. Has anyone hung in this area before and if so, is it a good spot...
I am giving it serious thought.
Under quilt nirvana, I love it! I told my buddies that I achieved nirvana but didnt throw in the UQ.

Cant help you locally but I would love to hike and hang in the Romero Canyon down towards Tuscon.
Glad it wasn't just me. Went on my first hang and visited the tree 3 times. I never have to go when sleeping in bed at home. I was using a pad in 48 degrees and was cold most of the night though....
Thats what I am looking for, thanks for the tip.
Welcome from the other side of the state! You are going to love your new hobby.
Yes, I was very surprised! Gonna save a lot of room and weight in my pack.

It's an addiction but a good one Paul.
Thank you!

Would loved to have seen that lol. Are you going down Friday or Saturday?
Do you have to reserve a walk in site at Hawn or can you just hang somewhere along the trail?
Placed my order today #8941 for a Burrow 40 and a Phoenix 40 +1. The waiting is the hardest part.
I have always loved camping and hiking but the older I got the more it hurt my back sleeping on a pad or on my cot. I started looking on the internet for a more comfortable way to camp and came...

Thank you. I checked out your website and the hammock chair is brilliant.
I got mine just over a week ago and hung it for a few hours and took a peaceful nap in it. Camping with it the 17th-19th this month and cant wait! It is my first hammock and was surprised how quick...
