god, guns, and country.
Oh boy! Pick me!
I have the short incubator underquilt with 1 oz overstuff... and it fits like a glove on my ridgerunner without any modifications.
Any plans to sell a bridge hammock??? More vendors should make them... Only 2 that I know of.
If you're gonna get a rain tarp... get the best you can. It saves you a lot of money because you don't end up with three or four. I'd personally recommend the Warbonnet superfly.
spiders!!!!!!!!!!:scared::scared::scared:
OK ill try it. If wear and tear occur, I'll get a netless 1.9 or somethin' like that.
Hey yall, sorry I haven't been on the forum in a while:mellow:. I have the 1.1 single layer RR. Would I be able to use it full time??? I'm 123 lbs:lol:. I just don't want to accidentally ruin it by...
Haven't been on the forum in a while.... But it didn't work for me. ( jarbidge + HH ) I went bridge, and all my issues dissapeared!
Their hammocks are decent. Everything else is trash. (in my opinion)
HG short Incubator 20* with 1 oz overstuff, works both on my WBBB and WBRR.
I think I just died of laughter!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Ya that'd be pretty hard to do.:lol::lol::lol:
My mattress is just in storage. I prefer the hammock, too. (bridge-style though)
I know... It's soooooo sad.... :crying:crying
Come to think of it, warbonnetguy (Brandon) should consider selling the topcover separately, too. That way, you could get a replacement if yours got stolen, lost, or you never got one in the first...
Your backside is most important!!! For winter, get a 0* UQ with overstuff, and a 0* TQ w/o overstuff
I believe some time near the end of july, but I am probably wrong.
Hey all, does anybody know why the RidgeCreek UQ isn't available in 4 season???? I would like to buy one eventually. Or would it have to be custom...
Glad to help!

wow. after some hammock "testing" ,,, I confirm that this is the comfiest hammock I have ever layed/slept in. . So make sure to buy one!:lol::lol::lol::lol:
Short answer: Do you need a hex tarp? No. Do you need a WarBonnet SuperFly? Yes. Here's a link : http://www.warbonnetoutdoors.com/superfly/
pics or it didn't happen!!!
Dutch wasps!!!!
You could combine both, and have a suspension very similar to the UQ suspension that HG and UGQ use. (which is extremely convenient!)
AHE should really put a discount on the one season Jarbidge quilts (the other one season quilts too!). I mean, it's less insulation, and should cost less. (In my opinion). In that case, I would have...
Ha! all you guys taper....   I never taper my line. Just massage the rope enough, and it'll slide right through itself. But I'm sure it's different with mason line. Tapering does...
LumberJack, you only made one mistake. You say you purchased Nylon webbing..... and nylon webbing stretches. A lot. Polyester webbing would be a much better choice.
By the way, a good place to...
You will love it! I too recieved my RR today, and it's a beauty. But, most importantly, it's uber comfy.
Ha ha,,, i remember getting that award... I'm 16 yrs old right now, and I've almost got my Eagle!!! +1 on the hammocking merit badge idea.
Well, it arrived, and It's perfect!!! Uber comfy!
Only one problem with it: it came with whoopies, when I ordered webbing/buckles. Oh well. I just switched suspension with my Blackbird!
I had the same issue. then I went to integrated, and I lived happily ever after
Oh... trust me.... I will....
I think the black hammock with the red interior looks awesome! too bad it's not mine....
pads really aren't so bad. I just prefer my UQ for maximum comfort, and warmth-to-weight ratio. However, pads do work better in bridge style hammocks, i.e. the WarBonnet RidgeRunner (...
Oh my freakin' goodness. I'm soooo excited. Last wednesday, the 18th, I ordered the RR :boggle: . On friday, the 20th, It shipped. It should arrive tomorrow!!!! What should I expect??? I'll...
Now... the REAL question is..... HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH???
often times, with whoopie slings, or UCRs,... the user does not "milk" the bury. Not "milking the bury" can cause overconstriction of the dynaglide OR amsteel blue. Then, you cannot adjust the...
WOW!!! THat looks NiCe!!! I recently failed making a bridge hammock myself.... :'( But I'll try again!!!
looks mighty heavy. Take a look at the warbonnet ridgerunner. Almost everybody who has one loves it. Here's a link: http://www.warbonnetoutdoors.com/ridgerunner-hammock/
Amen!!! oh... and they are overpriced like the hummers....
Ordered a ridgerunner on the 18th, shipped on the 20th. Also take into consideration that I asked for rush production, so I could have it in time for Scout camp!!! I'm so close to becoming an eagle...
Got a shipping notice!!! should arrive by Monday!!! Now to get into the woods..... :boggle:
Great vid! I'm sure this'll help quite a few people!
man, I'm thinking the mods should make a hammeck sub-forum!
whooooooo buddy!!! (as shug would say ;) ) I need to get some!!!
I really do hope that it'll be as good as everybody says!
