Sorry, I should have specified. It would be for sleeping
I see several companies such as enlightened equipment, hammock gear, and Warbonnet make them. Which do you guys prefer? It’s hard for me to decide because I’ve never seen them in person.
Sorry, but it is sold. I was just awaiting payment and just got it this morning

I have a hammock gear economy burrow 20 degree for sale. It’s the long version, grey outside, black inside, and a sewn foot box. It’s brand new never used, from a smoke and pet free home. I bought it...
One benefit is the 1.4 will hold more weight
So now that cloud 71 fabric has been out for awhile what’s everyone’s thoughts on the durability? I’m always skeptical about new stuff but it’s been out there long enough now. Do I order a new...
Awesome! Message sent!
Thank you
I listed it exactly how they have it listed on their website
Wanted to buy a trailheadz tarp containment unit
I’ve always carried (2) 12’ tieouts, (2) 6’ tieouts, continuous ridgeline, and five stakes. The 5th stake is for the hammock bugnet. I’ve heard of people carrying lots of different things. What do...
I went with the ultralight even though it was only a couple grams in savings
Even though My superfly has never leaked I just feel better about the bonded ridgeline. I also like the fact that the bonded comes in at about three ounces less than the superfly. So I’m getting a...
I have both and I really like both. The bonded is really growing on me and quickly becoming my favorite tarp. You can’t go wrong with either in my opinion.
You have a ton of options for a top quilt. There are many cottage vendors out there that are great options. I personally have an eldorado with a wookie underquilt and I chose the incubator top quilt...
I’m completely with you on using the CRL. That’s all I’ve used on my bonded tarp but haven’t had it long at all.
Is a bonded or a sewn tarp ridgeline stronger?
Another tree guy here, less stakes to carry
WB eldorado with suspension 22.75
WB mini fly with guyline, stakes, carabiners, and tarp sleeve 19.04
HG burrow 20* top quilt 27.21
HG incubator 20* under quilt 19.75
Total 5.54 lbs.
They cost so much……. Anyone ever regret purchasing a dcf tarp?
I’ve been going back and forth about ordering a superior gear elite hammock set up. I want to get a second hammock, quilts, and tarp so I can start taking my kids with me. I live in Minnesota so I’m...
Wanting to buy a superior gear 11’ superior hammock with full bug net
I’ve always gone with a sewn foot box because I typically get cold feet. For those of you have tried other options did they work just as well? I’m contemplating buying another top quilt with snaps...

I never noticed these before. I’ll have to order a set now ha ha. Jeff makes some great stuff
I ended up ordering the ridgerunner and I don’t find it to be very tippy. The wife loves it and I’m glad we ordered it.
How far have you guys been able to increase your ridgeline length on your eldorado or xlc without causing damage to the bug netting. I’ve noticed over the years with different hammocks that I am most...
Thanks for sharing, they look great. Makes me want to give it a try
My first problem is that everyone in the family likes gathered end hammocks except for the wife. She wants to like them but struggles getting comfortable. So having never tried a bridge hammock...
I dislike the shelf in the xlc so I usually use my eldorado. I like a little more organization I guess so piling things into the large shelf doesn’t work for me. I don’t even use the stuff sack as a...
Great review! I’ve been thinking of ordering one for awhile.
I know you didn’t mention Minnesota as a possible destination, but I believe the superior hiking trail in northern Minnesota would fit your trip plan well. Lots of info for easy planning on the sht...
That must be it! Ha ha
You’ll love it here, lots to learn!
So I’m laying here in the hammock watching a bird that just landed in the tree above me…..
Do you find the ridge runner to be tippy at all? Some of the reviews I saw said it was tippy and the banyan wasn’t as bad. I’ve been waiting to order a banyan for the wife but I’m running out of...
Looking forward to your review! I’ve often thought of trying a 10’ hammock out but worry about calf ridge. If superior gear is doing something different to help eliminate the calf ridge in a 10’ I’d...
I guess I’m lucky I never had this problem in a hammock. I used to hear things all the time in a tent, but in my hammock I’m usually out cold! Lol
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
For those of you that own both which do you prefer to use in windy conditions, the larger tarp with doors or the smaller tarp and underquilt protector? Why?
Interesting..... you’ve really got me thinking now. I’ve never considered this before. I just went with a very little to no stretch guyline like suggested on the forums here. Maybe I need to try some...
I haven’t had a problem using this method yet. I like the fact that if the shock cord breaks my guyline is still there to hold the tarp.
That turned out pretty good. Do I dare show my wife this picture? Lol
I’ve spent a lot of time looking around for an alternative as cheap as the Costco but have yet to find one. I have a whole family getting into hammock camping and was looking for some cheap summer...
