DWR coatings do eventually wear off. Enough wear on the fabric would cause it to lose it's water repellent properties I would think. I'd try Nikwax if I were you.

I got mine on the Kickstarter. Single layer was the only option. It's Hexon. I don't think I had a choice there either back then. Not complaining. It's one of my most comfortable hammocks.

I don't think I can make it. I've had a cold from hell since Christmas thanks to my cousin for coming to the family gathering sick. I can barely handle outside right now between my ears and cough....

Weather plays a big part for me making it. It's a 5 hour drive from here so it would be 11 pm at the earliest before I could get there. Makes it hard to commit ahead of time.
